Can you just go out there and find simeone and marry them?

Do you believe you could tie the knot well with someone who you know you could have a good marriage with, but, sigh, not great.

Can God help you hurry love?

Well maybe YOU can and maybe not... since its the man's job to do the asking and the woman's job to do the consenting... any man COULD approach marriage this way.

That sounds HIGHLY DEFEATIST... because if you can have a good marraige you can have a GREAT marriage... it does happen to be what you make it, how you work at it, the safety and security of "til death commitment, and the decision to HONOR each other... May sound kinda boring... but add in the little moments of intimate laughter, joy, great sex...it is all ABOUT MAKING A GREAT MARRIAGE... not "getting" one.

I think so... but I don't think hurrying is necesary as committed love should GROW over the lifespan of a marriage, even in those short seasons of... not feeling very loving.

No matter how long it takes
 
You can hurry love, you can marry just whoever for the sake of being married, and as long as your both willing to work on things together you can have a great marriage together. Will God help you hurry love? No doubt. The bible says God will give us the desires of our heart, it also says the heart is deceitful above all things, so God will give us those desires, but 9 times out of 10 there will be consequences to deal with. Of course with God all things are possible too, but without Him everything we do on our own agenda is doomed to fail.
