Today, there are those within the "Church" who would lead you to believe that you can possess the righteousness of Christ (salvation) without walking in the presence of Christ (ongoing relationship). Such people could not be more wrong.

Just as a bulb possesses no light of it's own apart from the electricity that flows within, believers do not possess eternal life on our own apart from life in the Spirit. Just as a plant can not survive without sunlight on a regular basis, a believer can not survive spiritually without the "Son's light" on a regular basis.

The indwelling Holy Spirit wants to inhabit every area of your life if you will let him. When we refuse to surrender certain areas of our life to His care, 'little sins" can fester and grow out of control like a weed or a cancer until your spiritual life is consumed by darkness, confusion, & greater degrees of spiritual separation.

It is His divine Presence (Spirit) which marks, seals, & preserves believers now and for all eternity. Our own ability to agree with certain facts or doctrines can not and will not save us. Only the indwelling "Spirit of Righteousness (Christ)" can and will save. Will you place your complete trust in Him today?
