1 Corinthians 15:
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1 Corinthians 15:50-53 As for verse 50 when you receive the Holy Spirit is it through flesh and blood (corruption)? of course not it is through faith in Christ and comes in through your spirit (incorruptible) that belongs to God not your flesh btw, that is a piece of the "kingdom of heaven" that you inherit and that's what Paul is saying here. The rest of Corinthians here is talking about one singular event, not two. Those that are alive will not fall to sleep(die) but will instantly be changed as they meet Christ in the clouds at His coming with those who have already fallen to sleep (died).
1Thessalonians 4:
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Once again, this is one event that will happen instantaneously, those who sleep (dead in Christ) will fly right up into the clouds out of their graves, and immediately after that, those that believe, that are left here in the flesh, on earth will fly right up into the clouds to join them as well.
Revelation 22:
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Notice that right before Christ returns (one time and one event, like a thief in the night, watch!) that He says "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still"? Not one unbelieving or worker of iniquity is allowed to repent after He says this. So how will the Jews as stated in the past, or anyone else be able to repent after this? He comes quickly once, to redeem His children. Watch!
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Are these the ones you say will repent? Notice that they will never enter into the Kingdom of God and are without because they are unjust and unbelieving still? They will remain that way forever. They will all die at His coming. Their bodies will be like dung on the earth for a thousand years. Then after a thousand years they will be raised up, judged and thrown in hell with the devil and all the rest of his servants. Then death will be swallowed up in victory. That's why John said repent!, when he prepared the way for our LORD, He didn't say hey people watch for a tribulation then repent and you will be fine.....
Was Job raptured out of his time of tribulation? No
Was Joseph raptured out of the pit or prison? No
Was Daniel raptured out of the lion's den? No
Was King David raptured out of all his tribulation? No
Exodus 7:18 through 12:30 records the Israelites including Moses, were in Egypt for all ten plagues of God's wrath did God rapture them? No
Was Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego raptured out of the firery furnace? No
Was Yahoshua (Jesus) or any of the Apostles raptured out of their persecution? No
Was Paul raptured out of all his tribulations (2 Corithians 11:23-27)? No
No rapture, Just much tribulation just like me and you face daily. Will not all of these people be in heaven in the great congregation?
This was the purpose of introducing this bunk bologna theory, to lie to people to let them think they have plenty of time to repent, when they won't be able to do that, after our LORD says "
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
and it stands in direct conflict with sound doctrine and the warning that our LORD gave to us. Watch!
