I do, but I seemingly offended you with it. For that, I am truly sorry. It will not happen again.
Sorry about that as well. My stupid sense of humor gets me in trouble at times. I actually am quite mannerly. That was a poor attempt at humor on my part. Again, I am truly sorry, and it will not happen again.

So your humor has gotten you in trouble before?

I truly am sorry. I thought that we were having a playful exchange, and you were smiling in your avatar. A total misread on my part. As I said earlier, you seem to have a gentle spirit, so I do not doubt that you try to help as much as possible. Again, it was simply a case of my stupid humor getting me in trouble again. It is my fault, and it will not happen again. I truly am sorry.

Thank you. :)

I truly appreciate it. I was not offended though. I don't always know how to take some humor, though. I would honestly say that I believe you that your heart is in the right place for sure. I myself am a mix of serious and silly. Probably I am more "deep and sincere and compassionate" than humorous. Love to have fun. We all have these diverse personality types....:):)

To be totally honest with you, I get in trouble when I am serious, and I get in trouble when I am attempting to be humorous. Especially on forums. In real life, some people actually like me. Right now, the only thing keeping me here is some private conversations about the Bible with another member here. I should probably just stay out of the public forums altogether.

Anyhow, this conversation has gone totally off-topic with the OP, and that is my fault, so I will at least vacate this thread for now.

Have a blessed night, and, again, I truly am sorry.

On one hand ,Can't wait for the tribulation to start, so God can sort out the sheep From the goats, the good from the bad, the bad Christians from the good Christians. the just from the unjust.
I don't understand entirely how a person can hope for the beginning of the tribulation. On one hand, It means the day of the lord is soon to come and the end of human history and suffering.

On the flip side of that same card though, there will be suffering on the earth never before seen in history.

I am pretty firm in the belief that during the Tribulation, the Spirit of God will not be upon the earth, People will be (For lack of a better word) Abandoned for a short time. From everything I've read and from my understanding during this time The devil will have full reign without restriction to do what he wants to do, he will murder Christians without restraint along with anyone else who doesn't toe the line.

I also believe that people will be lost, and others will be saved during this time. Non-Christians will convert and come to Christ, while others will fall away from Christ. I don't claim to know the logistics or any details about it. Im always willing to change my opinions.

I'm just confused why a person would be impatient for this to come to be.

Jesus said in Luke 10:18 that He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven and alerts (His disciples) that, "I have given you authority to tread on snakes and on scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (v.19)."

So, when did/does/will Satan actually realize that He has fallen from heaven per Rev12? and begin persecuting the woman that had given birth to the male child?

Sometimes, no, a lot of times, I think it a bent toward ridiculous to think the atrocities that have occurred all too commonly throughout history just isn't 'atrocious' enough to count as any 'real' tribulation. Can we just chalk it up to common happenings in the course of a general events? You know, run of the mill sort of things.

Thank you for your thoughts. My personal belief is if God's spirit has left the earth, so will we as believers in Jesus Christ. I won't debate nor argue because I am just not that person, but my true belief is He would not permit His bride to be punished in this particular type of hell on earth. (Not saying we won't go through severe types of pain~persecution~ etc) I know many who don't agree and many who do and I am ok with that.

Why? What would be the purpose for this? The two witnesses will be here until the end and I don't think it's realistic to think the holy spirit won't be with them. Also there will be a believing remnant until the end that will certainly have the spirit.

How can anyone repent and be saved without the holy spirit? They can't. It's impossible

Our God will never leave us nor forsake us. God doesn't lie.

Like I said "For the lack of a better word."
I know the Lord will never abandon us as long as we draw breathe there is hope. I'm not 100% sure how to explain it, Maybe retreat or back away would be preferable.

I believe the only reason the world isn't worse than it already is today is because the Spirit of the lord is here, and in order for the Devil to have free reign to do what he's going to do in the end days is if the lord backs away and gives him the right.

I'm not very good at explaining things and I apologize.

No apologies necessary. Discussing is how we learn. It is my firm belief that the reason it will get so bad is not because the holy spirit isn't here, but because the devil himself and his followers will have been kicked out of heaven onto the earth. Unrestrained evil. The woman hidding in the wilderness suggests that a remnant will be nourished by the spirit.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:9
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Revelation 12:12-14

What makes you think the 2 Witnesses will be here until the end? The bible says they will be killed and left in the street for days and how they will be spit on, mocked and celebrated for being dead.
Because it says they witness for 1260 days. Then they are dead for 3.5 days, resurrect, ascend and then the 7th trumpet blows and Christ returns.
