Some of u may remember that , I have been trying to capture a large grey stray Tom cat in my area .
I have been feeding him for about two years and , he used to live in a very dense area of foliage near my flat . I posted in the spring , that he had an injury so I needed to catch him because he was very vulnerable . I stayed up night after night trying to trap him and eventually did . I passed him on to a local cat charity , they neutered him , declared him fit and released him back into my area . I was very upset about this but couldn't do anything about it .
In May , my local council destroyed all the dense foliage that was his shelter . Since then , he had been living under a bush , out the back of my block of flats , right outside one of my neighbours front door . My neighbour was also feeding him and trying to befriend him .
My neighbour reached out to me for help as he is hoping to go on holiday in September and was worried about the cat . I got in touch with a different cat charity and they lent me a trap .
So , for the last few weeks , my neighbour had been trying to lure him into his flat and I have been trying to lure him into my trap .
6AM THIS MORNING ! My neighbour phones me to tell me he had the gray cat in his flat ! I rush down with a cat carrier , my arms and hands and eyes well covered for a battle ! I cornered him , threw a towel over him and got him in the carrier ! Not a scratch although , he's not to happy ! The cat , not my neighbour 😆 . I'm sitting here now waiting until 7am when I can phone the charity , they will come and take him and find a home for him , he will not b left out on the street ever again . I've taken a photo and will put it in my media but sadly , u can't c much on it , but he's in there I promise . I said a million prayers for this cat , all thanks go to God , the Father of all creation 🙏😻 . Thanks to all of u who showed an interest ❤️ . Pray always , God hears 👍 .

Bless you for your patience.
It is certainly a calling to have compassion for homeless voiceless vulnerable animals.
So glad they will be cared for and find a forever home.

Poor kitty...

Freedom is important to felines. It's WAY more important than comfort. To some it is more important than survival.

And now this cat is trapped forever.

This cat will never be your friend. In the cat's eyes he will always be a prisoner.

Unless... Unless he can somehow get free. And he will always keep trying to get free.

Cats are the most rude and obnoxious creatures alive....I have three. Two came with the house.

Two of mine are enormous sized....not Maine coon sized....but still quite large. (20+lbs)

The one "smaller" sized cat is the scrapper and Hunter of the three....totally obsessed with birds and squirrels hunting. Also fighting others in the neighborhood. He is "fixed" but totally orange cat and his buddy has that orange cat energy too.

Two of the three cats including the small one....always want you to notice them ignoring you....as if it was a sport.

The youngest (orange cat) and 2nd biggest cat is not bright enough to figure out how to be a cat all by himself. He almost copies the other two....

These are all outdoor cats....they live outdoors year round...fed, watered, and given flea/tick treatments.....

They have yet to figure out the whole cat carrier...truck ride....vet thing yet. So traveling is very loud and annoying. Just saying.

Yeah I have a half feral cat that has to stay in his own room when he isn't outside or he will fight with the other cats. Before I had one cat fixed, he sprayed so much in one area that his urine eroded all the cables that connect to the tv and internet, when the isp tech guy came out and found the problem he had the largest grin I ever saw on somebody who had seen something destroyed by urine

Oh
Does the cat have a name?
How can you tame a wild thing?

Have you seen Breakfast at Tiffany's?

The very last scene with the cat..it makes me cry every time I see it. Poor Orangey.

I would name this cat Greyie

Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of my all time favourite films , i sob uncontrollably whenever I watch it . I only have to hear the first couple of notes from ' Moon River ' and I'm in bits 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫 .
This cat has a bad hip injury , and an eye injury and a gash on one of his front legs , he's been living under a bush in an urban area surrounded by cars and a fox prowls around at night . Graham can't run or climb or defend himself because of his injuries . He's now in a new home with a lady who has lots of secure outdoor space and five other semi- feral cats for company . He's safe at last and apparently has made friends already 😻 . All in all he's cost me about £500 but , it's worth every penny to know he's somewhere nice 😻 .

Suze are you a member of the SPCA or support an animal rescue?
I used to be one for years, and also volunteered in their op shops etc. Our latest cat is an SPCA rescue. They found her about 6 weeks old or so, all dirty and on the streets, abandoned...but she's cleaned up real nice. We adopted her and now she's 3 years old.

She is one spoiled kitty because we have no other cats in the house, she's the only one!
