Often times that is how it is, respecting God often times comes with wine of insults

lol applauding. U should have heard the arguments Ive had when wearing a prayer scarf ( I dont always do it but when I go into heavy praying I do) goodness!! Many things I do in respect for God and man get insulted for it![]()
Makes you wonder how Father put's up with us huh?![]()
Fathers ways are polar opposite of ours while I admit I have weak moments and follow the statues quo sometimes for the most part my ways and my ways of thinking and seeing even my nature opposes the ways of this world. love has this way of changing you in a drastic way following him respecting him being opposite of the world just naturally begins to flow
It's worth it though Blain. Fitting in with the crowd or society vs loving God is not even a question on the table for me.
So I been to an AG Pentecostal church all my life. They always taught me "Halloween is the devils Holiday". My church was 100% against celebrating Halloween and "forbade and prohibited" us young children from ever participating in it. I honestly never had a problem with it, I watch scary movies and would of always have wanted to go trick or treating. However I know some Christians celebrate it because like me they don't see it as that big of a deal and they don't do it with the intent of "celebrating the devil". Seriously you're dressing up in silly costumes asking for candy. So I just want to ask, which side is right or wrong. Or is there a line in the middle? I understand other Christians have slightly different beliefs then my church, but I never celebrated it because I was told since a young age never to do so, but I do see Christians here who say they have. I's fine just confused as to what the real answer is to this Halloween thing.

I just cant have a clear conscience with it. The only good thing about Halloween is that i got a chance to try to get ppl to send me candy bars!! lol . I rather celebrate a bit less..than more. I dont wanna stand before God some day and him asking me bout goin to Church on a Pagan day and taking the last supper unrighteous like many do. People have called me ''catholic'' and all sorts for fasting before that and ''Pharisee'' and ''religious'' for not celebrating like others on Christmas etc..
That's how the enemy comes into the picture. "It's only this, it won't really matter, it doesn't mean anything."
In our sunday school they are. Anytime a pagan day is coming up and society will be infiltrated with the enemy on display in every shop window and essentially everywhere they turn, the church takes steps to educate their youth on what the meaning is and how it should be responded too. If the parents are christians, they should make it their business to know the origins of that day and attempt to follow Christ instead, their children are only going to follow their example. Further still, if their school or parents don't care enough to teach them about the true meaning of that day, it doesn't justify them following it.
For one who is only 16 the wisdom she has is absolutely amazing huh? But like I always say the wisdom and maturity in Christ is not limit by ageI absolutely respect that about you.... we MUST follow our conscience, in whatever way it leads us.
I also like that you don't try to "condemn" those that have a different view.
If I thought that my kids/grandkids were trying to follow occult type things, or were celebrating Halloween as a satanic kind of thing, I'd stop it immediately..... but as a dress-up day with free candy? I'm ok with that.

That's good that your Sunday school teaches them about the origins of it. But, I think it should be done in a spirit of love, and not condemnation. Educate the kids, and let them decide.
lol if that is her view then why on earth is she a pastor? If ppl keep up saying this I will give u the email to the pastor who said ''she has to talk to me'' and said that God doesnt use ppl in my age and that I am not doing what God calls me to do, which is being a kid and that I should grow up etc...she dont like me very much haha
Well my friend if you appreciate me so much would you mind sending me a box of Baby Ruth for Halloween??LOL JK
Yeah I try not to condemn people. Ive been condemned all my life aleady from the beginning. Its not on me to judge. And after seeing that God punishes some things and ppl getting hit back with exacly that condemnation they were pushing on others..naw Ill be nice lil Christian

No daughter of God would ask for Baby Ruth, when they know that Mr. Goodbar, Snickers and Paydays are true Manna from the Lord....Must wee cast out Baby Ruth out of you now or later....older folks are going to get the last part of my comment...
sorry guys but butterfingers are the only holy candy you can eat anything else and well.... have fun where your goin;b
God knows our hearts and if you're just taking the day in with a grain of salt then there's no harm no fowl, yet I don't take part in Halloween because I'd rather focus on God in complete fullness.
