The smoke rises after the rapture
The church lies in ruins, and the people of Jerusalem mourn for their loss. The prophet weeps as he sees the devastation and destruction wrought by the Lord's anger. The daughter of Zion is covered with a cloud, and the Lord has cast down the beauty of Israel from heaven. The Lord has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger, and he has swallowed up all the cities of the US without pity.
The strongholds of the apostate church that had once boasted great things have been thrown down in the Lord's wrath, and the US and its princes have been profaned. The horn of Israel, their strength and influence, has been cut off in fierce anger, and the Lord has burned up the nominal chrisitians like a flaming fire that devours all around it.
The Lord has bent his bow like an enemy and stood with his right hand as an adversary, slaying all that were pleasant to the eye. In the tent of the apostate church, he has poured out his wrath like fire. The Lord has become an enemy and has swallowed up the US, destroying all her palaces and strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation in the denominations.
The Lord has violently taken away his tabernacle, destroying his place of assembly. Looters and rioters burn down the meeting halls. He has caused solemn assembly and Sabbath to be forgotten in Zion and has despised in the indignation of his anger the President and the priest. The Lord has cast off his altar and abhorred his sanctuary, giving up the walls of her palaces to the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of Lord, as in the day of a solemn assembly.
The Lord has purposed to destroy the wall of the apostate church, stretching out the line and not withdrawing his hand from destroying. He has made the rampart and wall to lament, and they languish together. The gates of the cities are sunk into the ground, and the bars are destroyed and broken. The felons flood the streets. The king and the princes are among the nations where the law is not, and the prophets find no vision from Jehovah.
The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground in silence, casting dust upon their heads and girding themselves with sackcloth. The christians hang down their heads to the ground. The prophet's eyes fail with tears, his heart is troubled, and his liver is poured upon the earth because of the destruction of the church. The young children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city, and they ask their mothers where the grain and wine are. The cities fall into the hands of roving gangs.
The prophet testifies to the denominations, asking what he shall liken to her that he may comfort her. Her breach is great like the sea, and who can heal her? Her prophets have seen false and foolish visions for her and have not uncovered her iniquity to bring back her captivity. Instead, they have seen false oracles and causes of banishment for her.
All who pass by clap their hands at her, hissing and wagging their heads and saying, "Is this the USA that men called The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?" All her enemies have opened their mouth wide against her, hissing and gnashing their teeth, saying that they have swallowed her up. This is the day they looked for, and they have seen it.The Lord has done that which he purposed, fulfilling his word that he commanded in the days of old. He has thrown down without pity and caused the enemy to rejoice over her, exalting the horn of the globalists and one world religion. The people cry out to the Lord, asking for tears to run down like a river day and night and giving themselves no respite. They lift up their hands toward him for the life of their young children who faint for hunger at the head of every street.See, O Lord, and behold to whom thou hast done thus! Shall the women eat their fruit, the children that are dandled in the hands? Shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? Every day the news is filled with violent gangs murdering Christians in the churches and even stories of cannibalism as people starve to death.The youth and the old man lie on the ground in the streets; My virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword: Thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast slaughtered, and not pitied. The streets are filled with dead bodies.Thou hast called, as in the day of a solemn assembly, my terrors on every side; And there was none that escaped or remained in the day of Jehovah’s anger: Those that I have dandled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
1 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty
and makes it waste,
Distorts its surface
And scatters abroad its inhabitants.
2 And it shall be:
As with the people, so with the priest;
As with the servant, so with his master;
As with the maid, so with her mistress;
As with the buyer, so with the seller;
As with the lender, so with the borrower;
As with the creditor, so with the debtor.
3 The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered,
For the Lord has spoken this word.
4 The earth mourns
and fades away,
The world languishes
and fades away;
The haughty[
a] people of the earth languish.
5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are [
b]desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men
are left.
7 The new wine fails, the vine languishes,
All the merry-hearted sigh.
8 The mirth of the tambourine ceases,
The noise of the jubilant ends,
The joy of the harp ceases.
9 They shall not drink wine with a song;
Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
10 The city of confusion is broken down;
Every house is shut up, so that none may go in.
11
There is a cry for wine in the streets,
All joy is darkened,
The mirth of the land is gone.
12 In the city desolation is left,
And the gate is stricken with destruction.
13 When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people,
It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree,
Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done.
14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord
They shall cry aloud from the sea.
15 Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,
The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth we have heard songs:
“Glory to the righteous!”
But I said, [
c]“I am ruined, ruined!
Woe to me!
The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously,
Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”
17 Fear and the pit and the snare
Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be [
d]caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.
19 The earth is violently broken,
The earth is split open,
The earth is shaken exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel[
e] to and fro like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut;
Its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall, and not rise again.
21 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones,
And on the earth the kings of the earth.
22 They will be gathered together,
As prisoners are gathered in the [
f]pit,
And will be shut up in the prison;
After many days they will be punished.
23 Then the moon will be disgraced
And the sun ashamed;
For the Lord of hosts will reign
On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
And before His elders, gloriously
