Did not know where to post this.
Everytime i go into the chat it says "nickname in use"

i logged out and logged back in but still not working.

Did you just close out of CC? Or did you log off to where you had to type your user name and password in again? That happened to me once when the server, or something, booted everyone off at once. Hope it works out for you! :-)

haha i wish i knew what i did, i do not know how this happened!

hahaha, i thought that was the case at first. I would be looking around my windows but then i shut off the computer and still does not work.

software ap incompatible with your computer? have you updated it recently?

ive had this happen to me and it resolved to adobe flash player staying connected after the window has been closed normally a complete reboot of the operating system will disconnect unless u have the "save my open windows on shutdown" selected, now im assuming that ur running windows vista, 7 (correct me if im wrong)
press ctrl, alt, delete... open the task manager go to the "presses" tab look for your web browswer e.g.. im running Firefox the name of the proses is "firefox.exe*32" highlight it and right click then select end proses tree close the task manager and try getting into chat again

log out?(not just the chat app the entire site) kill your web browser process using the steps i previously posted then do a complete shutdown if your using a laptop [*1] remove the battery and power cable wait approx 1min then insert battery and power cable and start the computer
[*1] (if on a desk top remove the power cable from the back of the CPU(tower))

I did try this but the browser history dosen't seem to want to delete either.

hmmm just get a new user name? and tell the mods that this one won't let you sign into the chatroom? that way you can test to see if its the username or something with your personal computer.

with out having your computer rite in front of me its hard to diagnose the problem but i do have one last suggestion
ask one of the mods to manually log u out of the server
