Have you forgotten how to have fun?

When it snows I see kids sledding on the hills of the golf course and it makes me want to park my car and go play too (reminder to self to put a sled in my trunk).

I want to buy a Supersoaker.

I want to jump into a pool or lake and swim all day.

I want to not eat anything healthy for 24 hours and not care.

Anyone else?

Nope. I don't like fun, and I'm not a child.

There is nothing fun about any of the following videos. Nothing at all.

Cars aren't fun either.

Of course, the news can't be funny...

A couple months ago I went to my first metal concert in five years, and it was awesome. It was like a load of therapy in just a couple hours. It may not sound fun to a lot of people, but to me, that's how I just let go, have fun, and feel "child-like"

A couple weeks ago I had my kids and while they were eating I had one of my Rush DVD's on and my two year old heard Tom Sawyer and got up from the table and walked over to the TV, watched for 30 seconds and started head banging...So I'm proud that my kids cut loose the same way I do :)

I have no problem being childlike, it's most adults that I don't understand.

I love Mythbusters!!!! :D

I'd love to have a supersoaker war. It's been too long

Stilly, you need to figure out how we can have virtual Supersoaker wars on here :)

In the meantime....

I got Donkeyfish!!!!!! *runs*

Nuke, that was awesome! But I still think he should've been wearing a helmet.

I sometimes take part in NERF battles but I should do it more often.

Say Hello to my little friend

I feel I'm pretty balanced. I'm able to sit down in a group of adults and have a deep/serious discussion, and then I also have no problem having water games, playing hide and seek, and just being silly. :)

I think there's something to be said about letting go and having childlike-fun. It's a blissful moment where nothing else in the world matters, because you're too busy chasing after someone with a water gun or pumping your fist at a concert to worry about anything else. I agree with zaoman: It's therapeutic!

I went home for the weekend after working way too many hours in one week and was feeling spunky, so I spiked my hair (semi long)...it was awesome. I also had a snowball fight with a couple of my brothers, and was chased around with a side skirt (from my car).

When I had my RWD truck I had fun in a parking lot when it snowed. I would go on, but some of you might think I still AM a kid...

I don't get how people can be serious all the time, loosen up and enjoy yourself!

I miss when my two daughters were young, in the summer, going for a ride in the country. They wore their bathing suit under their clothes 'just in case'! When we would see an irrigation system that blasted water across the country road, as soon as I stopped the car {I used this opportunity to wash my car, kept a bottle of suds in the car!} My girls would be dancing and playing in the water. When I turned the car around to wash the other side and rinse it, when I was finished, I would rinse off in the water myself, then chase my kids, man that was so much fun. Of course if another car came, we'd get out of the way, got many smiles and we were happy. I felt like a kid playing in that water.

Sounds like fun, jools! I bet your girls remember this with love! :)
