Do you believe God answers prayers , even the ones were something bad has resulted from sin. I made a mistake awhile ago and I'm paying for it everyday . I've asked for forgiveness and I just hope God hears me.
 
Yes I do. He hears us. Just because we don't often get the answer we are looking for exactly after we ask it doesn't mean it's not all being worked out for our good. There are consequences for sin in this life. You're talking to someone who learned it the hard way too. But we stay the course and set our sights on the prize and God works it out over time. He's already forgiven you. The reason you doubt it is because you don't understand the depth of the love He has for you yet.

1 Peter 5:6-7 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

Colossians 2:13-15 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."
 
God through Jesus Christ hears all Prayers, but he answers only ones that are in Harmonie with the Prayers of Heaven. According to his will. But yes God really hears prayers, for example i walk my dog alote, some time i noticed that all the while i walked the dog i never met one christian, right there on the spot i prayed "Jesus christ please show me one christian, i just want to observe him thats all", about 10 minutes later in a park a man came up to me with a book in his hands and asked if i believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Gosple.....we sat down and i observed his Faith. Lol our God is Alive.

James 4
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet[a] you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?
 
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

You have done 1 John 1:9, now you need to forgive yourself. You can't change the past, but you can change the future.
If you hurt other people, go apologise or try to make it right with them. That will make you feel better.

I agree with the above posts. We all make mistakes. What is important to God is our attitude about them, and if we have repented from them. In Michiah 7 chapter? it says "I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleades my case and executes judgment for me." God might be angry for a while but not forever. He just wants us to stop doing the wrong things. When we are ready to repent, God is ready to receive us back.
I have a neice, who was wayward for a while, but she made a big change recently. We are so proud of her for making the changes. We can let the past go because we are so happy of her changes. Hope this is helpful

Yes He hears, answers and always forgives. We all make mistakes,we need to own up to them and ask for forgiveness, which is seems you have done. If true I can tell you with absolute certainty that you have been forgiven. As Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery "And Jesus said to her, 'Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.'"(John 8:11)

Hi

God has forgiven you 2000 years ago when He sent his Son Jesus Christ to the Cross and died for your sins.

The rest is your part. Do you believe in His work on the Cross for you? Do you truly repent of your sins? Have you ask God to forgive you?

If you answered the above questions with YES, then you are forgiven. You have to receive it BY FAITH. Go with joy and thanksgiviing. And ask GOd to give you strength not to repeat that mistake again!

John 8:36, Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
