Lust is a no-no. That's not something that can be denied while maintaining scriptural integrity.

Something to ponder..
GotQuestions said:
There are some biblical principles that can be applied to the issue of masturbation. Ephesians 5:3 declares, “Among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity.” It is hard to see how masturbating can pass that particular test. The Bible teaches us, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). If you cannot give God glory for something, you should not do it. If a person is not fully convinced that an activity is pleasing to God, then it is a sin: “Everything that does not come from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). Further, we need to remember that our bodies have been redeemed and belong to God. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This great truth should have a real bearing on what we do with our bodies. In light of these principles, the conclusion that masturbation is a sin is biblical. Clearly, masturbation is not glorifying to God; it does not avoid the appearance of immorality, nor does it pass the test of God’s having ownership over our bodies.

If you don't know then its not a sin because in order for you to commit a sin you have to know you are sinning, otherwise we'd be guilty of sins we commit in our dreams when we aren't fully conscious of what we're doing. Remember, if you think it, you did it!

If you really think about it. Masturbation is having sex with yourself. Most likely if you have masturbated, you're lusting after someone or something. I know for myself I consider masturbation a sin because I can't think of non sinful things when I have done it. It's a struggle for me. It's a temptation. I try my best to keep my eyes on God and not have Satan grab hold of me. Look at it from this point of view: Is it the right thing to do? Is it the mature thing to do? Could I be doing something productive with my time or should I just go ahead and masturbate if I feel like it? That's my two cents for ya.

First I will address the funny thing. She said "CHRISTIAN GIRLS" and only guys have answered hahaha lol.

Now the serious matter. Hmmm yep, it doesn't matter if you're a girl or a guy it is a sin. And I think the brother who posted before explained it pretty well.

God bless you!

I think because normally it's more pervasivly a male issue. As a result of it being something we must watch out for, I think we are much more conscious of it, and want to help others with the struggles against the flesh. Atleast, that is my reason anyway.

Really I think it's an issue for both men and women. Guys are just more open about it and most will even tell you if they do or not when they're asked. Girls on the other hand keep it on the down low.

The Bible doesn’t specify on masturbation. Lust is a sin so watching porn or thinking of someone lustfully while masturbating is a sin. You have to judge your motivation of doing it. Even if you don’t think impure thoughts during the act, it’s often impure thoughts that cause the desire to build. My general rule is that if a person has to ask if something is a sin, it most likely is for that person. It means they feel something is wrong but want to find a work around. Celibacy isn’t fun but remaining pure for God is worth it.

" in the Journal of Sexual Medicine in 2010, found that 85 percent of women masturbate (compared to 94 percent of men). Doing so, public health researchers report in The Conversation, gets cervical fluid flowing through the female genitalia, thereby flushing out bacteria and other infection-causing, pregnancy-preventing substances. In addition, they report that orgasms reduce stress, blood pressure, and pain, and it increases self-esteem. ... While the physiological benefits of improved well-being — less stress, a stronger immune system, and better interpersonal skills — are great on their own, there’s no biological reason why gaming the brain’s reward system to occasionally dole out higher returns isn’t good for you."https://www.inverse.com/article/23820-masturbation-health-evolution-male-female-biology-sex

It appears there is a biological cause.

“How long, O Master, the holy and true, [will it be] before you judge and avenge our blood upon those who dwell upon the earth?” (Rev. 6:10).

The dead do remember their life on earth. If that part of the mind is there, then so is their will.

Well duh! That's the best time to make a comment in this thread. The original combatants have long since retired from the field and are no longer even the same forum, so we can say anything we want without them disagreeing. :D :D :D
