The pertinent scripture, 1Corintians 6:6-8, merely says Christians should not sue other Christians in court.
Since that is not the legal situation here, then this scripture would not apply.
(The lawsuits here would probably be against institutions rather than individuals, and civic institutions would not qualify as a "Christian brother" as required in 1 Corinthians 6, as an institution isn't even a person. Christians have full authority, scripturally, to pursue any of their legal rights... we just have a few caveats. There are also some other points, but these are the simplest ones.)

I am wide awake and fully cognizant of the scripture you refer to. I actually referred to it myself in my post. I am all about context, but apart from football, it seems that suing is the next popular sport in this country.

My point, is that y'all can sue up one side and down the other and 7 ways from Sunday, but what you have here is a SPIRITUAL problem that shall not be solved in the courts of this or any other country.
