adekruif, you are already well on your way to becoming the godly man any christian woman would look up to. :)

zan just wants the one God want's if he wants one, he knows the one flesh person (couple) he wants to develop for what purpose. Out of that compatibility will be developed and chosen.

I want a woman that doesn't post in forums asking what men want in a woman. oh snap.

The response. " he replaces her and she replaces Him, sums it up for me

I have a long list. I guess i'm too picky lol.
I want a man who puts God first.Someone who wont try to lead me away from God. A man who doesn't cheat.
A man that won't pressure me into having sex before we're married.
I would love a talented, sweet, family oriented, gorgeous guy. haha
Someone who can make me laugh until it feels like I did a million crunches & tears flowing from my eyes(: Someone who loves to go out on dates, but also
one who is content with chilling at home watching a movie or challenging me to a video game.
I want someone who understands me, but not fully. Someone I can grow old with. Someone who will continue trying to sweep me off my feet after we're married. One that will pray with me, one that wont cuss me out and call me horrible names. Someone who wont try to ever physically, mentally,
or emotionally harm me. I can come up with a book, but at the end of the day I'm gonna trust in God, bc he knows what's best for me(:

All I really want is to be absolutely certain that he is the One that God wants me to marry. It has recently come rather startlingly to my attention that God knows me WAY better than I know myself (really shouldn't have been much of a surprise, huh? :o), and what I might think would be ideal for me might be the exact opposite of what would be best, so I've decided to toss the "wish-list" away. I might think that I want a sensitive guy, but what if that makes me too demanding? I might think that a laid-back personality would be best, but what if I need someone who's more intense, to keep me from getting complacent?

I'm just going to let God handle it, His ways are perfect ;)

Having said all of that.....it would be nice to find someone who actually WANTED to put up with me, but that's as demanding as I intend to get (it's a pretty tall order)

I like what you had to say here..and that's exactly why I put that little disclaimer at the end of mine that said: "...but I try to keep in mind that God is full of surprises."

^^^Lol, yup, you never know, huh? :) I used to think that I knew what would be best for me, but I realize now that I really don't, HE does ;)

You know, I have a list of what I want in a Christian man. But recently I saw a couple hat was compelety brought together by Jesus. It made me as this: What kind of husband does My Lord want for me?

But my list is simple:
Loves Jesus to the point where I want to love Jesus as much as him

SomeOne patient who can deal with my moody self

Someone who can crack through my heart with Jesus's strength

Someone who is a psalmist like David.

Someone that God aproves of and will help enhance my testimony with his.

Someone who knows his struggles and strives to become more like Christ daily.

Someone that aspire to honour God with all that he does and to live life to the full.
* that I am physically attracted to & vice versa
* that share the same Godly vision that I have and should be intelligent enough to plan ahead.
* loves children and can relate to people of all ages, from diverse background.
* optimistic and realistic, has a positive outlook to life.
* fun loving, appreciative and have a sense of humour

For me, I look for a man who allows God to move in his life and towards self-improvement. There is a certain chemistry that I look for. I can't really explain it, I just know it when I see it. I tend not to go for guys who are absorbed into video games, but that like to go outside lol (I know the irony of me saying this on an internet chat site). What is extremely attractive (and I think this is for most girls) are guys who have courage, and will stand up for what (and who) is important to them. I get chills and a bit teary eyed when I see this.

Perhaps, my expectations are too high? Could be a reason to why I am still single. Would it be settling to take a few of these things away? Or would it be me being realistic? Hmm.

Authentic Christian woman, honest with God, herself, and others about her imperfections, but confident in her identity in Christ.

She loves God and wants to love Him more.

She is Christ-Centered.

She loves people and wants to make a difference in the lives of others for God's glory and by the capacity given her by the Holy Spirit.

She loves me for who I am and wants to share the journey with me.
