I read somewhere that in the last days that one of the biggest persecutors of true believers will be Christians. What do you think about this?

Maybe professing Christians, but true believers have had their heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and their bodies wash with pure water according to the Book of Hebrews. Let us realize that anything that tries to tell us this isn't true is gainsaying.

I live near a seminary that is raising men of God to teach the Good News. Some of those men aren't Americans. They're from the Middle East and parts of Africa. They will get a degree, are then ordained (if they pass the test), and then take a plane ride home. The second they land on their native soil an expiration date is stamped on them that few can see. It says: "1 minute to 2 years."

That's their life expectancy for daring to teach the Bible in their home countries. The moment they are found by the authorities, they will be killed.

I do get a kick out of how confident people are to predict end times when they live where it is free to talk about God. Tribulation has been around since the beginning, is now, and will come, for some moreso than others. It was the grace of God to place us in a safe land.

Those who hate God kill Christians, not people who follow him. (The meaning of the word "Christian" -- Christ followers.) We've been in the last days for roughly 2015 years now. No telling when it ends ends.

Never said I could predict when lol

Also think about how many Christians and churches are compromising their beliefs in the name of "equality".

You must understand how the word CHRISTIAN has been so corrupted that it has lost its original meaning.
There are many who call themselves Christians that are just as lost and bound for Hell as Judas was.
And they are already persecuting true beleivers and their numbers are growing every day.

Never said you were. lol

I'm more concerned with who you're reading. And even then, I'm not sure if that person was predicting, or just had a really lousy day. :(

And, yup, some churches and some supposed-christians have walked away. Those are the ones sown on rocky soil. Those that endure are the real followers. (I've known many who I thought were Christians stop being Christians, so I'm very sure it's impossible to tell true followers from temporary-infatuation followers, other than the true-followers are the ones who get eternity worshipping God.)

It's the children born of the flesh who have always persecuted the children born of the Spirit, like Cain and Abel. Sadly to say, I believe there are many more carnal Christians instead of true born again Christians, so a persecution from them is possible. But all those who are of the flesh, including all faiths will hate the true spiritual children of God. Just look at Islam who proclaims to believe in the God of Abraham.

Also look at what happened to the prophets of Israel, and Jesus, and the apostles, and the early disciples. Jesus said in John 16:2 "They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

All the knives in my back have been placed there by christians, mainly the hirelings. See: 'Which pastor' for a small sampling. Most of those knives are labeled 'Regection'. Some are labeled 'Smoke and Fire Hatred'. I agree that some of these people didn't know God from the caboose of a mule. But many did!
Jesus said that the world would hate us, even as it hated Him. I have deduced that a worldly christian will hate you also. Your very presence puts them under conviction. They don't like that. They'll remove you from their company lest you affect them and you'll know it. This without uttering a single word. It's the Spirit they cannot handle.
Theyll kill you (disfellowship you) thinking they're doing God a service.

Have you ever gone to a church and let the church & The pastor get to know you? Or did you always feel the need to minister to everyone, including the Pastor on day 1?

Is it not that way when we play as we were judges, judging other ppl as if we were actually made perfect?

That is true now and, if some of them want bread and to keep their life alive, they will do some of their folks.

Yes and no. I went and kept quiet. I honored the pastors showing great respect. Esteeming others better than myself. Did you read 'which pastor'. And no, I did not try to minister. I was not headstrong as you may be suggesting.
Read that piece and you'll see that the hirelings I mention had some major problems. No, I'm not saying im the only one who is despised. All those that surrender completely, no compromise, will experience the same.
I kept quiet about it for years on end. Now I speak and hold not back.
Dont think I enjoy this ministry. I hate it but that's what God has called me to. To simply be totally surrendered.
Unless you can see that the way church is done is not biblical, you'll not understand what we've lived.

You obviously do not pay attention to the news at all.
Just go look at all the news articles in this country toward Christianity.
True followers of the bible and it's core beliefs have probably about 15-30 years before a bunch of it become illegal to preach. Your generation is safe, mine on the other hand is probably the most sinful U.S. generation to come, and there will be judgement on this nation. Probably more judgement than any other nation.

To add to my post, we're also the most murderous and lustful nation. There's thousands upon thousands of abortions (murder, blood on the nations hands), and there are millions of porn websites. The list goes on and on and on. To add to that, the U.S. is trying to pull away from the protection and help Israel. Have you ever noticed ever time the U.S. discusses or comes close to discussing it, there is a pretty big catastrophy in the U.S. I call that judgement.

I agree, but I'd say here in the USA judgement is past due.

Religion has a long history of persecuting those that live by faith in the promises. And yes, much of the organized church is falling away and will join the fray against true believers, IMHO.

Yes, and God is not mocked. Homosexual "marriage" is something for real alarm, and not for the sin of homosexuality, but for institutionalizing, sanctioning sin, as well as polluting God's marriage covenant, which is in-your-face rebellion against Almighty God. The same is true of being an enemy of Israel, which is rebellion against God's plan for Israel. When the ways of Satan are chosen, look out below! Scary stuff.

And what are you doing about it?
Me personally, I'm living my humble life. It's not my calling to lead or change a nation. I'm still trying to figure out what my calling exactly is, but I know it's not that. You're expecting me to give an answer that must be awe inspiring. No I'm not, because that's not me. If the country is on the path it's on right now, it's because God wants it on that path. Every world leader is in place because God allows it. I'm not going to interfere with God and His plans.

So what are you wanting me to do about it? I don't understand why you're asking that.

Your generation is the most sinful US generation? Hardly. You don't know history.

There will be judgement? No, it's already here. We're already in the Julius Caesar generation. It gets worse. (And, if you learn anything about Roman history, you know it takes a long time before a nation totally crumbles.) The US can also be Jonah's Nineveh. You really need to learn your history -- world history, not just American history, (although you need both.)

Probably more judgement than any other nation? Really? Really really? You really haven't studied history.

Then again, the world isn't about nations. It's about God's will won, is winning, will win.

I'll give you this -- your generation has been propagandized all your life, and yet you have yet to notice and come out of it. And, I'm not just talking from the public school system - even more so from agenda churches. It's time to read the Bible and learn its history too. There's much you are missing because you rely on the news.

The Bible says everyone is called to be a minster of reconciliation, that includes you. Christianity is not a spectators sport.
Jesus did 5 things: Preach, teach, heal, demonstrate and deliver. He taught his disciples to do the same, and this is the mission of the entire church.

It is evident you think God wants to judge this nation, but forget that he is not slack concerning his promise, that all men would come to repentance.

Can you lead someone out of the kingdom of darkness, or is it easier for you to sit on the sidelines while others make the plays for Jesus Christ?!?! You might not be called to lead a nation, but you are called to reconcile sons and daughters back to God and lead someone out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of his dear son.

Apathy is not found anywhere in the Bible. There is only do or do not, there is no try.

The young adult generation is exactly the opposite of what you state. You are seeing symptoms of their condition.

Can you see this generation is calling out for real love, or does your apathy blind you as it does so many self professed christians today.

Put on your kingdom glasses and see their are 2 kingdoms, light and darkness and you are called to bring those our of darkness and into the light.

Not site back with false humility and beleiving the lie from hell, that god his judging the nation and there is not anything you can do about it.

With that kind of thinking David would have never defeated Goliath, Elisha would have never crossed the Jordan, Jehu would ahve never kicked Jezebelle out a window and Moses would have never seen the people delivered.

The clock is ticking...what are you goign to do about it, but complain?
