Everybody has their show. You know, that show that you can't wait to see. You DVR it. You think and talk about it. What is it?
I will tell you about one of my shows. It was The Bible miniseries by Roma Downey/Mark Burnett (producer of The Voice). It aired on The History Channel earlier this year. It was gross; it was graphic; it was GREAT! In fact, it has become a top-selling DVD miniseries. Did you happen to catch it?
How about Joyce Meyer's Bootcamp Series? What about In Touch with Charles Stanley? Both of these people have thousands of followers for good reason. They are HIGHLY anointed to teach/preach God's Word. They are not a substitute for church, but they are a nice addition/supplement to church. If it is your desire to draw nearer to God, consider tuning into shows Christians are producing for your entertainment. You'll be surprised to how God will draw near to you when you make this step toward Him who loves you.
