So should Christians be practicing Judaism and sinless obedience to the Torah? Or did I just swallow the hook, and your going to tell me how Christianity fulfills the OT law.
Some treat Christianity as if Jesus had come to start his own religion, but he came as the Jewish Messiah of Judaism in fulfillment of Jewish prophecy and he spent his ministry teaching his followers how to practice Judaism by setting a sinless example of how to walk in obedience to the Torah. In Acts 21:20, they were rejoicing that tens of of Jews were coming to faith in Jesus who were all zealous for the Torah, which is in accordance with Titus 2:14 where Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so Jews coming to faith in Jesus were not ceasing to practice Judaism but were becoming zealous for it. This means that there was a period of time between the resurrection of Jesus and the inclusion of Gentiles in Acts 10 that is estimated to be around 7-15 years during which all Christians were Torah observant Jews and that Christianity at its origin was the form of Judaism that recognized Jesus as the Messiah. In Acts 24:14, Paul testified that according to The Way, which they called a sect, he continued to worship the God of their fathers, believing everything laid down by the Torah and written in the Prophets, and the religion that The Way is a sect of is Judaism. The only reason why someone would need to be sinless is if they are going to give themselves to pay for the sins of the world - the rest of us can thankfully have our sins forgiven.So should Christians be practicing Judaism and sinless obedience to the Torah? So are you saying the NT is infolded in the OT, and the OT unfolds in the NT?

I learned this from a gifted Bible instructor as types and shadows. It's incredible to see how everything is in perfect unison.
Love from God to all, saves us from the have to's to be new in trust to God love us all, that be the call, I see in thankfulness.

I am not under Law, (to have to, a must, is under man-made laws) I believe Father and Son. Son sent to reconcile everyone as forgiven on the cross he went to willingly for us the people everyone. Jesus, took all sin away at that cross for us the people to get saved by Father through his done work, in belief Jesus is risen for anyone that sincerely believes this truth sincerely. God frees each personally, to each that choose God to not give up on God's love and mercy for all.
Once anyone chooses to believe it is true, God reveals God's Love for us all, unconditionally. God receives each as they are, to develop each person in an unconditional love that, I personally have responded to this in thanksgiving and praise over it. Not a have to religion as was in the first Testament, under the Pharisees. The free choice to choose now (has always been this way was always meant to love as God loves, it is a response).
Trust is a response to trust God to see anyone in belief through it all. Phil 1:6, Romans 14:1-4. We are Loved, everyone knows this by God. how many know God accepts you as you are as well?
Accepted, forgiven and sealed as saved by by God through the done work of Son alone. Eph 1:1-13 verses 6-7 Accepted and forgiven in the beloved verse 13 sealed to see it , stand in it and see Col 1:21-23.
It is not a must, I better, it is a choice to stand in belief to God's perfect love for each person individually. I, therefore stand and see this love deeply. It is not a license to sin, this is to stand in trust to God Father alone as Son did all the way to that willing death once for us all to believe this too.
Especially Jesus is risen for Each person personally to believe God Father and see new by trust to Father alone, as Son has done for all first. this is a response to God taking away sin in each child of his, through the done work of Son for all to choose to believe it or not.
Therefore, there will be no excuse for anyone on the day of judgement. Therefore one, anyone who stands in belief will over time not ever giving up on God, no matter what troubles happen to them, will see through as in the last chapter of Job.
It seems you are very religious in man made up laws, rules misused through scriptures. Straining out gnats, swallowing camels. time turn in trust to God, God by son has taken away sin once for us all to give new life in the risen Son.
It is very stressful under laws, one, anyone has to do to be in with God and has to do to remain saved by God.

If you must, go ahead, do your must do's. Everyone learns truth under Law. (Gal 6:1-9) That they can't do it either, seeing they need God's lead through them, no more self effort to do it righteously, no one can! that is why Son came to do what is now done for us all John 19:30 he fulfilled Matthew 5:17 for all. verse 18 still in place for all those not yet in belief 100% he took away all sin for us all first, then the new life is yet to be given by Father who freely gives it. so stand no matter what.
Once anyone believes God Father took away all sin through Son for them, then that person is not under Law anymore. Instead now upholds Law Romans 3:31 stands in trust to God and hears God's love happening through them in the same love and mercy given them by Son first to all. Which I do see you know and are learning this truth too, thank you Father.
Each person can now go to Father being reconciled by Son first, as if never sinned (Col 1:21-22), have a relationship to learn how to live above our circumstances freely and agree to not harm anyone else again through any restraints people put on people, especially through religion(s) and see to put any sin behind them as fast as it past through them Phil 3:11-15
I am free, so are you and anyone elected between God and them are free too (all are elected by God through Son). Not all believe it 100%. I can do anything, I a free to choose, thank you God. I choose God am by God through Son Jesus am dead to sin by God not by me, nor are you or anyone else in any further work any one does for not does.
