It has gotten to be that way.
No doubt about it.

They refuse to follow your denominations beliefs so they must be bad.
I get it yes, it's needed. I have repented from my reason for wanted to make my own church.
Russian Orthodox

Putin the leader of Russia is Russian Orthodox and this fake church think they are being led of the Lord to go kill all the Ukrainians that they can.
Yep, just like the catholics did and the reformers did as they too murdered many.Russia must be using the church for control over the people. To make them behave and do what they want.

I found in the ministers in the Church as well as school personnel are reluctant to report suspected child abuse. Once my pastor tried to discourage me from reporting. I did it anyway though I do not enjoy the process one bit. However, the more important point is that often, by refusing to act, we cause the little ones to stumble. That millstone is far to heavy for me to carry.Yes, I was an RN and must report too.

I was a never a member of the Orthodox Church because I was not in agreement with them on major points. However, I do not label every member of that Church or every priest a "servant of the Devil" They believe in the sacrifice of Jesus and His role as redeemer and Messiah. At the same time, I have met many within evangelical Churches about whom I can say the sameThese are servants of the devil, the tares Jesus spoke of who teach doctrine different from the Doctrine of Christ, aka Gospel of the Kingdom of God which is what Jesus taught and is what He taught thru the writing of the Apostles in the New Testament. .
If they failed to teach their children about getting born again thru Jesus then the Lord will send them to hell to be tormented forever. If their parents tried to teach them these things, they would be put to death.

You should have recorded that conversation and take that to the police and have this poor excuse for a "pastor" arrested for obstruction of justice and being an accessory.
My responsibility under the ethical code of my license does not require me to report both the suspected abuser as well as every person who did not report it. If they are withholding significant facts I am rarely in a position to investigate. In fact, it is not my job to investigate - only to report what the abused individual said to me. If the non-reporters are caregivers or parents that would be an issue but then the State would investigate this, not me.
Different States have different laws respecting whether or not I can record a conversation without the other person's knowledge. In this State I could but that does not always constitute proof nor is it always advisable to attempt it except in extreme cases. It sounds like you do not have actual experience doing this. It is easy to say what other people ought to do. Would you report a close friend if you saw him using what you consider to be overly harsh measures when he was disciplining his own child?

I have listened to children describing the sexual abuse perpetrated on them by close relatives. The fact that such young children are even familiar with those practices is evidence that natural moral boundaries have been crossed. Although I avoided leading questions, copied everything they said in detail and reported it to Child Protective Services they could not intervene because the children (out of fear of their abusers) later recanted their account. Later, I found out that their abusers were personal friends with key members of local Law Enforcement. They would take their kids away from them!
