Most churches teach heresy these days so your area is most likely in need of a church that teaches the whole counsel of God.

I found in the ministers in the Church as well as school personnel are reluctant to report suspected child abuse. Once my pastor tried to discourage me from reporting. I did it anyway though I do not enjoy the process one bit. However, the more important point is that often, by refusing to act, we cause the little ones to stumble. That millstone is far to heavy for me to carry.Yes, I was an RN and must report too.
I was a never a member of the Orthodox Church because I was not in agreement with them on major points. However, I do not label every member of that Church or every priest a "servant of the Devil" They believe in the sacrifice of Jesus and His role as redeemer and Messiah. At the same time, I have met many within evangelical Churches about whom I can say the same
If they failed to teach their children about getting born again thru Jesus then the Lord will send them to hell to be tormented forever.
I'd rather be right with the Lord and b e pout top death by some errant government than be right with some errant government and be sent to hell by the Lord.

You should study what the Lord says in the New Testament concerning false teachers and mass deception in the end times and understand that there is a falling away from the Lord and not great revival in the end times.
Let's remember it was Jesus that told us that the pathway that leads to life is narrow and few find it.

How do you know what I have learned and what I have not yet learned?
I have listened to children describing the sexual abuse perpetrated on them by close relatives. The fact that such young children are even familiar with those practices is evidence that natural moral boundaries have been crossed. Although I avoided leading questions, copied everything they said in detail and reported it to Child Protective Services they could not intervene because the children (out of fear of their abusers) later recanted their account. Later, I found out that their abusers were personal friends with key members of local Law Enforcement.
