When I look back at what I used to want, the things I was sure would make me happy, I can see that if I got everything I wanted I would have been miserable.

I know what I think I want. But I'm glad I don't get everything I think I want. And if I did get everything I thought I wanted, I'd probably complain about it.

I have no idea what I really want in a spouse, or even a date. I know what I think I want. But I don't have a clue what I need.

Interesting thoughts...if Christian qualities are a given... the only thing I can think for sure is someone who makes me laugh a lot, other than that... ?
