Oops, I stand corrected, yes God will change their hearts...so I pray for the lost ones in my family, am I not doing enough in the sense that I should be praying, for I guess, people worldwide? Or is it like on step at a time type of deal? Sorry if I'm asking to many weird questions, I would usually discuss these things with my husband but he's currently 3000 miles away and a 3 hour difference from me so it's impossible to talk.

Praying for the entire world is a fairly large task........... Not sure we would be able to handle that one........I consider the Lord's Prayer when I think of this.......

"Our Father, which art in Heaven, THY WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH as it is in Heaven......

In my opinion, our prayers should be "personal" and "pointed." Praying is our way of communicating with God. Our hopes, desires, needs, concerns, whatever.........the more specific, the better.....but we should always remember to end our prayers with "THY WILL BE DONE." It is great to ask God to do something specific, but we must remember to ask it in His will, not ours........

There is no grey area in God. Its either of God or not. God is all forgiving and loving but Hes also Holy and Righteous. When we start making excuses and blurred the lines of holiness you are walking out of the truth. God calls us to be holy because He is holy.

God is not like man. He is God. He is sovereign and He is Holy.

Here is something that just struck my funny bone in regards to reading about all of the laws and scriptures that everyone follows so perfect. This is not meant in meanness at all. Just a funny that came over me.

I am a professional truck driver. Today I obeyed all laws that are in the DOT book. (Department of transportation)
Today I obeyed all speed limits that the law requires of me. I turned my turn signals on 100' before my lane change, and kept it on 100' after my lane change. Just as the law requires me to do. I stopped before the limit line at every intersection just as the law states. and kept a safe following distance of one truck length for every ten MPH just as the law says for me to do. It is nice and comforting to know so much about the law.

Five years ago I broke the law. I did not see a No right turn on red sign. I got pulled over by a Law officer.
He asked me if I had seen the sign. I said no. He told me that he goes by peoples attitudes. Guess one could interpret that
as,... Where ones heart is at. I did not get a ticket. Seems that I was saved by grace that day.

Im sorry the penalty for sin is death.. no where in the bible does it state a slap on the wrist. God says depart from me you worker of iniquity I never knew you. Many will say lord lord. .but will be cast into hell. We are to turn from sin.. not blur the lines and make excuses for it.

The reason God would not know someone is because they had no personal relationship with God.
A worker of iniquity may have enjoyed living in sin, and not caring of God. What about when someone brings there struggles with sin before the Lord. Not hiding anything from the Lord? And has nothing but love for the Lord? No need to answer.
I do not overly care for the way the debates turn out here on CC.

I also do not want to sound as if I am standing up for sin. For I am not. I gave people here a true to life experience and perspective of how I, or other Christians may be able to live the way they do in there relationships with the opposite sex.

Two years ago God changed my heart. It now troubles me to think of doing what God has now put in my heart what not to do. What is a bit scary and concerning is that!.. I had also decided not to have a girlfriend for this same time period.
That is soon most likely going to change. For I have too much to offer to just sit up here on my mountain like a hermit.

Every study about this subject has shown that cohabiting couples are far more likely to break up than married couples. This is of course incredibly difficult on the children involved. Unstable and broken homes are the number one things hurting our children today. There is absolutely no good reason not to get married. If somebody is committed enough with a person to have a child together then they should be committed enough to get married. I'm shocked that Christians are trying to argue against marriage and trying to justify what is basically sin. For centuries Christians have viewed marriage as important, and then suddenly in this day and age when the secular world stops seeing marriage as important a large number of Christians follow their example. We should be following God, not the secular world and our own lusts and desires.

If your age is correct, "years" would average 7-10, putting you at your sexual "prime" in life. Unless you have a condition that's disabled this ability, it's my opinion I find your statement hard to believe.

As far as treating my brethren, you are using a direct approach, so I merely am doing the same, believing you would accept it the way you give it..... no insult or offence intended.

I don't mean to sound judgmental, but surely if you can afford to bring a child into this world then you can afford to get married.

The government makes marriage very expensive. It easily costs most parents over $10,000 per year to be married, rather than cohabiting. So, illegitimacy is mainstream for the poor.
