When I was 18 an moved into my first apartment, I was broke in on the very first day. All my musical instruments were stolen.
When I left my husband, someone broke into my storage an stole anything of value. When i moved into a travel trailer park
and was out of town, someone broke into my trailer an stole everything of value even the canned goods......I don't collect
anything anymore, its just going to be stolen.

When my older stepbrother passed away, we found that he had a whole walk-in closet full of old albums he'd been collecting since his teens and a turntable. :) I have the turntable and a lot of the albums.

I've actually come to enjoy Tommys posts...I can't help but laugh whenever I see the supersized bolded red size 80 point underlined font in the middle of someone's thread. Somewhere deep down, his heart's in the right place, I think...if nothing else, I always know where he stands.
 
Nothing hardcore.

My mom collects flute playing angels (she plays flute) and my aunt collects lighthouse models.

At one point as a kid I had a glass bottle collection and I tried collecting old pennies for a while. I have an old set of hot wheels and small airplane models somewhere.

I tried to start a chess set collection. I have one from Nicaragua and one from Hungary. If anyone feels like shipping me a chess set from overseas my collection needs a kick start. Maybe we can do a trade, I have plenty of extra compliments adekruif :P
