I was just reading about how certain colors affect us and what the colors we like say about us.
Do certain colors have an effect on you? Are there certain colors you like to have around you?

I love black, navy and red (especially for clothing), but in my home, I love light shades of blues and greens. They relax me. My favorite color is turquoise. Pink is okay in SMALL doses, but really not a fan.

Black, navy, red, light green. Dark purple's ok for certain things.
 
Its interesting that you posted this Jullianna because someone gave me this color-based personality test for Christmas. It looks very interesting. I haven't tried it out yet though. You are supposed to pick several colors like your favorite, least favorite, etc.. and then it will tell you what type of personality you have.

Nah, actually, I am kind of particular about my houses decor. I really like the white walls, black and metallic and glass furniture look.

Clothes wise, black, blue, red, green (gotta be the exact right green).
 
I understand about the right color green thing. My son has the most beautiful green eyes (his grandmother's) and there is a particular shade of green that I buy for him. :)

I redecorated my office today in bright greens, glass objet d'art and metallics :) Okay..now I sound like HGTV

Personally my favs are royal blue and black. Occasionally I will wear army green and or camoflauge, I'm not sure why because I'm not a veteran or a hunter. I do like deep green and orange because I'm Irish ya' know! However, in the summer I like to wear lighter colors like yellow because I tan easy (I'm also part Italian) and the bright colors help to show off my dark skin. *lol*

Green rules and don't ya ever forget it, dudes and dudettes. Right shade, lightnin'? There is no wrong shade when it comes to green . Green is like the Jennifer Warren song, always the right time of the night for it .Now if I could only think of a right time of the day singer for 'it' too :D

Color is a very interesting thing. And reading can be tedious. I don't think Zero is evil.

To the human eye there are more visible shades of green than any other color.

Green is my favorite color.

I wear a lot of tan, yellow, brown and green.

I tend to avoid pastel colors when I decorate. I prefer very natural shades of green, like those provided by living plants.
 
Colors! ohhh i just looooooove colors!

Im not a big fan of Dark colors. Especially Red's Blue's Yellow's and Brown's. I dont wear them, dont have them in my house. I've always really liked light colors. Like yellow, peach, beige, light pink, those airy kinda colors if that makes sense. Those colors relax me.
 
For clothing i like black, pink, dark brown, gray, deep purple and blue.

But for my surroundings i like green, i love orange (my house walls are orange ) yellow and blue
 
I don't like pastels, I prefer deep/darker tints of blue, cyan, purple, red, pink, coral, gray, certain shades of brown, of green, and gray. I also like black and white.

I like any of these colors for either clothes or walls.

Today I am wearing a black pant and a black and white top.
 
My favorite color is green but not that nasty olive green that only belongs on olives and BDUs. I like bright colors. Dark colors have their place and look good in the right envoronment. My house is light and bright with big windows. My bedroom ceiling is yellow and I have white walls. When I redo my kitchen, I want to do it in a nice light green. I wear lots of light colors too unless I'm wearing black for school or something.

i LOVE wearing black but i am so fair skinned people think i am gothic....oh well...
i dun caer whut udder peeple thank!
 
Cool colors are super relaxing. I've really been liking navy and white together lately for some reason. But favorite color is definitely still green. XD Bright colors make me happiest usually.
I like to paint things warmer colors. :) vibrant and fun is always good.
