I think a thread or board or whatever dedicated to comedy videos, satire, jokes, lighthearted stories, quasi-parables etc etc would be a great idea.

Some of the boards, I've noticed, can get very stuffy and serious and a lighthearted place for all the witty people and comedians to spread some laughter could really give the forums some zest.

Reinvigorate!
 
I don't know, tell us something funny so we can judge it.

Then make a thread about it yourself. You could have made that thread instead of this one. Keep in mind joke threads pop up regularly, and eventually disappear.
