Luke 8:25
“Where is your faith?” He asked His disciples
The Lord encourages us to take on challenges that will drive us to leave our comfort zones and put our faith into test. Of course, it is our nature that we’ll immediately yield to our fears when faced with raging storms in life.He allows raging tests in our lives so that we might come to love and trust Him and not rely on ourselves.
Philippians 2:!3
“GOD is working in you to make you willing and able to obey Him.”
We should stand firm in our faith. Our faith shouldn’t always rely on miracles and answered prayers, because miracles don’t happen every now and then and prayers are not directly answered at times. Our faith should grow stronger every day as we spend time alone with the Lord and get to know Him through His word. Through Christ Jesus we can overcome our weaknesses and find comfort in His promises.
Psalms 25:9
“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. “
Whatever the Lord commands you to do will gravely affect your comfort zone. It’s for the greater good of you and Christ. God is not telling us to move out our comfort zones because He wants to make our lives so miserable but to start a fresh work in our lives. Let us increase our faith in Him and be open our hearts and minds to where God is leading you. If you think that God is leading you out of your comfort zones, obey God. If that is where God wants you to be then it’s the best place for you.
“If you do what the Lord wants, He will make certain each step you take is sure. The Lord will be your hand and if you stumble, you still wont fall. “
