I need help. Me and my boyfriend been going out for quite a while. I'm 18 he's 19 he's Muslim and me all my life been introduced to Christianity. So me and my boyfriend argue a lot over stupid things. But ever since me and him started going out I been feeling some type of way. I feel like I'm not good enough for him that I'm fat and that I'm ugly and that's affecting our relationship and I don't know why I feel this way I try praying and look for answer but I'm not the type to ask for answers when I don't even deserved it can someone please help me ??

I can help. Stop dating a non-believe. Particularly one who's worldview often includes justifying violence against women and viewing them as a notch above animals. I suspect that there's something in his behavior, or attitude, towards you that makes you feel that way and you just can't recognize it.

To be honest he treats me right he worrrys about me a lot. But I don't see why I feel that way when I'm with him. I cry myself to sleep just thinking that he might leave me for another girl and I feel like he's with me for pity I don't know it's hard for me. I have a lot of things on my plate and I don't even know how to solve them

Well, how a person treats others in an obvious manner vs the less obvious behaviors are two different things.
Either he's doing something to make you feel this way, or you felt this way before you met him.
And it's still unwise to be dating a non-Christian.

Hello!

I feel like I can spread some good information on this topic! First off I'm 28 and single, single by choice!

The last relationship I was in was with a younger girl she was 22 and non religious. She was super beautiful, stunning. But in my heart I knew it wouldn't work. Not that she can't come to Christ, but I'm not strong enough in faith to be a person struggling myself to convert someone else. You should never date any that it doesn't feel right with or your don't click with. Religion is a huge topic...it's not like he doesn't like cats and you do. It will effect every area of your relationship. Nothing wrong with him being Muslim but I would stick with someone you can relate with and grow in Christ with! I've been in some really good and bad relationships, and the best ones were with Jesus in them! You sound young, to young to settle for anything this big. You're beautiful in Gods eyes...you're actually perfect. God will bless you with the right person at the right time. Remember time is your friend! Would you rather struggle with this relationship for years....or maybe not date for a year and find that perfect someone?!

I'm not going to address the relationship part of your problem because you've already gotten a couple replies on that, but I am going to attempt to encourage (not answer, because only God really can) you on your insecurities. Do you deserve answers from God? Absolutely not, none of us do, but His care for us is despite our unworthiness. Pray in hope, live in hope, and learn to love yourself not because you are skinny or fat, ugly or beautiful and definitely not because you're perfect, but because the God who created you looked at you and said you were worth loving.

Disregarding your boyfriend's religion, don't try to find your worth or "good enough"s in human people but in God. You might not be at the point in your life yet where you are willing to pursue God's love above your boyfriend's but someone ought to tell you, you will never be "good enough" for someone because without God's love we're not even qualified to be "good."

I'll pray for you and ask that God will bring a mentor or elder into your life that will help you in any/all aspects of your walk, relationships or other. I feel you, sister!
