So me and a few others were tossing around the idea of a conference room. Where a group of CC "leaders" would lead a conference on various topics every few months or so. An invite goes out to everyone and those interested in the topic would meet in the conference room (this might get difficult with the Mics being allowed to everyone though, maybe just the leaders on the conference room should be able to use them for this time) with like time for praise worship and prayer before the helpful discussion conference starts, then answer some questions after and have specific questions to the room during it. some topics that came to my mind that could be good for something like this:

marriage struggles

overcoming the depths of divorce

(teen/young adult) relationships, should you really focus on a bf/gf..or deeper on God?

finding the light in the darkness of depression/anxiety/PTSD

trusting God through your daily struggles

how to grow more in Christ, are your seeds planted in good soil?

just some focus topics i thought of if the Admins think this could be a good idea :)

At this time, the software that we use could not support more than one person on the microphone at a time, so this wouldn't be a feasible idea. Also, the allowance of people to talk at once create confusion, even when they're all 'leaders'.

In the past RoboOp tested a concept called MultiCam room where up to 9 people could be on webcam/microphone at a time and it was a total disaster, not to mention the extreme strain it put on our servers bandwith, trying to maintain all 9 connections at once.

Unless we get a sudden financial windfall to help upgrade our software (the program we'd like to purchase is more than $2,000) I don't see this as being a possibility.

I don't know why this is necessary. Do you not have a good church you are fellowshipping with (please note, being in fellowship with a church is different than attending a service, and running out the door as soon as it's over)? If you have a good church these matters should already be a topic of discussion.

Additionally, the forums address these topics in multiple threads a day.

Maybe she doesn't. Not everyone has access to good churches. Especially considering how few good churches there seem to be anymore.
Also, i know a bit about Aprils situation and i don't want to put her business out there, but she struggles financially and has no means to get around easily to go church hopping to find a good church. Or even go regularly.
I usually respect most of what you say, but this time i think your attitude and tone were presumptuous and condescending without knowing anything about the person.

Great thinking April, the great thing about your idea is it could even be a way to reach out to unbelievers who frequent this site. Unfortunately, not feasible as AlaynaJ was saying. But your drive to help others is quite a gift from God.
