Allegedly is the operative word. He is doing what all self-proclaimed heretic hunters do :..create suspicion to discredit something else that a person is actually saying. Heretic hunters have the habit of "twisting" some one's words to make them say something other then the intended use of them as we have seen done in this thread.

Even "IF" he did think that 20 years ago - which one of us has not changed our beliefs about the grace of God when the Holy Spirit gives us repentance to see the beauty of our Lord's completed work?...I would dare say none of us in the body of Christ has always known all things and will not ever know all things in it's fullness.

We will be learning and marveling at the beauty and grace of Christ towards us for all of eternity! Our Father can't wait to show us His grace in kindness.

Ephesians 2:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Our good, loving Father is awesome as is our salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ!

But what could be more excellent than knowing all things???
Walking in the Spirit in love. :)
If I know all things, have all the knowledge in the world - it's nothing without love. It's just arrogance then. :)

Grace777, you said something - think it was in this thread - about the Holy Spirit being like...a downpayment or a portion of our inheritance. Don't remember your exact words.

So, when I experience His Presence in me, it is too fleeting. I sit there saying, no,no please don't go, come back. And I've thought before that I just want Him because of the joy He fills me with and that I am not desiring Him just because of who He is. That I'm selfish.

But...how could there NOT be dissatisfaction when He goes from my awareness? There's something more for me, not just this downpayment or portion. There's more! How could I not desire that?? This joy I had never had before...is only a PORTION. I can't even imagine the WHOLE inheritance...my mind just kind of goes blank on that.

Eph 1:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, [SUP]4 [/SUP]just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, [SUP]5 [/SUP]having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, [SUP]6 [/SUP]to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.[SUP]7[/SUP]In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

We have just begun to realise the massive riches of gods love, I am like you. I think I can;t imagine what it will be like when it is all realised. And we see God as he is, And glory in his honor.

Hardly. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed you changing a post, and it wasn't to be "more precise" - it was because someone backed you into a corner.

So then, put your money where your mouth is:

Does God count our sins against us or not?

Does God justify us, or do we?

Does one have to stop sinning to retain salvation?

Must we do good works to maintain salvation?

State "clearly" so that you can't claim someone is twisting your words - that is, if you bother to answer the questions at all.

Someone was kind enough to open a thread where everyone could post there gospel. A certian person mysteriously chose not to add his thoughts to the thread.

I think that says it all.. Time to let things be gone. If he will not have enough courtesy to add his thought and his gospel so we all know.. In a thread which open to all, with trusted people to moderate. Then maybe just time to let him go.

Amen...well said....let us grow in knowing the Lord's love and letting that love pour forth in and through us out to a hurt and dying world and to each other.

Ephesians 3:19 (NASB)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Witchcraft at it's finest. Repeat the magic words over and over and over like Mr Prince did in the article and the release the power of "the god". Folks don't be fooled by this stuff, God is not bound by your acts of obedience, he blesses whenever he wants. You don't have to chant magical phrases to release the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

This is interesting. I have read that gnosticism (the doctrine of salvation by knowledge) had essentially two fundamental characteristics: 1) a pessimistic worldview that considered all matter to be evil and any spirit to be good, and 2) the utterance of magic formulae that served to dispel unwanted thoughts.

The mind behind conveying this quote above, is corrupt.

I doubt one person on this board views "that grace is a new nature", grace is the doctrine(s) of God's goodness, "Gospel of the grace of God", "saved by grace", "dispensation of grace", "grace freely given", "gift of grace", etc.

Are you so offended for your work, your doctrine, your beliefs, the truth you have made for yourself, that you are willing to pervert everything, God's word, yourself, others? You are out of control and need to recover yourself from this behavior, it's poison all the way around.

There does seem to be a wackiness about these ravings HR comes up with. No one here has ever said to sin so that grace may abound. So many beautiful verses and thoughts have been shared to the contrary each and every day here.

I think it's a lack of even wanting to "come and reason" with others. Because to do so would be a giving into an idea that may topple a kingdom of theology (a way of life) HR holds to. I used to be Catholic so it's understandable. I remember sitting in a Baptist church feeling like a traitor to my faith. No statues, no incense, no robes on the priest... NO PRIEST!!!

While sitting in that Baptist church in front of many people I felt embarrassed. Did they think I was not as strong in my own faith... thereby making me look weak to those who disagreed with Catholicism?

What to do?? get up and run out in defiance and anger defending my faith.....Or listening to others give their views and not feel threatened?? Sat in the pew and quietly cried as the spirit broke chains.

I almost choked. Then I have to keep from spitting up all over my keyboard.
Seriously? I brought up two problems with him here and you still say that?
Bring truth to someone, they turn their back to it, and still believe false doctrine.
The bible says so much about that sort of thing that I just don't see any profit in me pursuing it further.

Sometimes I just have to wornder if people actually read what others post.

Well said...all of us have had times like that and we will continue to have them as well. The Lord will be faithful to us as He reveals the vastness of His finished work of grace that He has already done for us! We trust Him!

Amen sis, I sort of went through the same thing, Oh how freeing it is when those chains are broken!

See. You turned something with absolutely no malice into malice. This is just the natural fruit of your doctrine that has a passive aggressive, us/them mentality baked into it. It defines itself by pointing the finger at those who don't agree with it and saying we're not like them.

I have some experience here! I grew up surrounded by passive-aggressive. It is more like...(you're right that there is a "me against the world" mentality) but it's more like...using your "manners" to get someone. The P-A wants to get someone back for not doing what they want or for doing something they DIDN'T want the person to do. So it's a control thing more than anything else. It's like....you won't agree with me or do what I want, so I'm going to get you back for that in sneaky ways. How sneaky and hard to see those attacks ARE really depends on the skill and intellect of the attacker.

The P-A wants everyones approval, and to be able to cause all to see that they weren't trying to be underhanded or mean, so they devise ways to passively show their aggression. They are great "rule keepers" in that they find a way to attack WITHIN what society deems polite.

It can get quite brutal. I've been there. If I had to narrow down what is going through a P-A's head when they are on the warpath, it would be: I will teach you to never defy my wishes ever again because I will make you so miserable you'll not DARE defy me again.

Strangely too, they are often hoarders in some way...
But it all really comes down to fear. Any control issue is fear based - P-a, hoarding, excessive anxiety, etc.
Duuuh....derail, sorry.

I too have witnessed this behavior as well and you described it to a "t" ( what ever a "t" means..lol )

I am most concerned with preachers who teach salvation by works. I could spend all my time picking apart the words of teachers, but I would rather have meaningful discussion about the Word here on CC and helping each other grow in grace and the knowledge of our Savior!

"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." 2 Pet 3:18

I agree grace is not a person. But I did tell you that's what false-grace (hyper grace) folks believe, and grace777x70 has verified this. Prince went so far to say that grace is our mother, i.e., god the mother. So the quote that you said was the product of a corrupt mind is actually correct.

What that is probably in reference to is Sarah is the mother of Grace... and Hagar is the mother of law... Sarah had Issac and Hagar had Ismael. The two could not co exist together so "law" had to be put outside the camp. Sarah got Hagar kicked out and God agreed 100%. Ismael could not superceed Issac even though he was the older brother. He was the brother from another mother.

There are many believers who in thought are brothers from another "mother"

...it is just an allegory ...Paul talks about it in Galatians 4:21-31 which says we are the children of the free woman ( verse 31 ) which is just showing the difference between the law ( Hagar) and grace (Sarah )....good point....:)

Yes! Never quite saw it that way...!
I have seen it as a parable for us in that the child of grace and blessing comes by Gods hand.
The child of our own working doesn't receive the grace and the blessing of God.
Only the child HE produces receives the blessings.
We have to "send away" the child of our own working, even though we badly want for HIM to be the child that receives the blessing. :)

Amen, That is why I am no longer responding to certain people..

It is better that way, I sometimes wish we all would let that certain person go.

Now there is a great truth that I pray for a lot with the Lord. We can "do" the will of God from our flesh or wait for the Lord to give us the grace. Abraham attempted to fulfill the word of God to him in his own self-effort and created an Ishmael ( and they are still fighting the Jews to this day )

God had to wait until there was no hope in the flesh for either Sarah or Abraham before He could fulfill His word by His power. Abraham and Sarah did have to be "willing" to participate tho.......:)

The publican showed where the door is found - GOD have mercy on me a sinner. There is no other way. The one who exalts himself is trying to enter another way and will be humbled.

True the way to God is through admitting our sin and receiving His righteousness while He takes our sin (2 Cor 5.21). I am accepted by God because of His righteousness, not my own. The Pharisee wanted to be accepted because of his own righteousness, not the righteousness of Christ,

2 Peter 1:5 says that we are to add to our faith, excellence. This does not mean adding the knowledge of our excellence (which doesn't exist), but adding the understanding of the most excellent life that walks within the midst of our deadness.

But he did not say 'add for your salvation'. He says that to lack this would make him unfruitful

Ahhh...I can't. I used to BE that person. I was QUIETLY that person, holding the pain of my condition of slavery more inward, but I was that person still. If someone is in prison I want to visit them and give them some water because I know the pain and anguish of being in prison. I was visited every day by the Holy Spirit even in that condition. He never left me. I belonged to Him.
