I have a few things for this thread today.
1. I am seriously considering quitting this website. I think you would be sorely missed. There is great power in Christian fellowship. Even though this might not be something entirely supported by a lot of scripture, I still believe that a little power from a brother or sister in Christ is shared amongst other like souls and a much larger Godly power emanates from the whole. If you're part of this Body of Christ, then your fellowship is of paramount importance.
2. I am not doing so good right now, I am hurting and scared about the future. Me too. The future, like a mountain, shades me from the sun and keeps me cold. God sees my future and there's something of a comfort in that for me.
3. I lost a friend today because he hurt me too many times. You and I do not have the capacity to forgive and forget. We have very short limits on what we allow and we always remember. God truly does forgive and forget the sins of the sinner, but make no mistake; the sin itself goes unforgiven and remembered. If you were to hurt someone or cause them harm, you can go to our Father in prayer and ask forgiveness and God would grant that to you again and again for too many times to mention. The consequence of your sin, however, goes unforgiven and lives on and your friend would remain hurt. So it is with you. God implores us to give our fellow brothers and sisters knowing full well that the consequence of what they do remains on earth.
4. I wish I could go back to a few months before all this.
