I think sometimes we need to throw out our timetables and just worship God all the time ...maybe they are making up for lost time with the covid restrictions.
I always thought at school it would be cool instead of teaching with timetables all the time it would just be reading all the time like a book week or entire book month (librarian here) and everyone would just read books all day and night instead of boring lessons.
Instead of wearing school uniform everyone dresses up as book characters and swaps books and there would be no hard chairs just bean bags everywhere

to me revival in a church just means a party with the Holy spirit.
There will always be some people who are party poopers. In acts 2 people would say 'oh they just drunk'. So you come to expect some of those. Like in this thread...!

I think we would do well to look at just how this outpouring started and maybe try something similar in our home churches or homes.
From what I've seen, some 30 individuals decided to more or less 'hang out' after the regular traditional service for more time together in praise and worship and fellowship with the Lord. That seems to show that what they sang, what they said came from their heart - no so much their head which would be lip service.
The lights were on. No wide screen tv. No smoke machines. Probably just a piano and or guitar for assistance.
Free from the tradition of the previous service. Free form, from the heart praise and worship remained and remains to which GOD accepted and to which GOD responded.
Perhaps this is for an example - to encourage us to just try what they did. Perhaps if we do - either in our home churches and or homes- we would be blessed with such an outpouring.

Speaking about the detractors of this outpouring, an analogy I heard a while back seems to fit.
When the sun shines on wax, it melts. When the same sun shines on mud, it hardens.
Something similar can be said of the hearts of men. When the Holy Spirit moves on
some hearts, there is joy, repentance from sin and so on. When that same Holy Spirit
moves on anothers heart, it just gets hard and cold.
Perhaps this is how GOD hardened pharaoh's heart - by simply pouring out His Spirit on him.

There was also a woman who was predicting that Trump would get the keys to the White House preceding the 2020 elections. I think she was on Eric Mataxis' show, but I am uncertain.
Pat Robertson has made predictions that didn't quite pan out.
The pastor of a megachurch in NYC (forget this name, but the church is Times Square Church), maybe... 20 years ago??? predicted nuclear judgment on the US. 15 years later, I believe he said something to the effect that God must have changed His mind.
Then there was Kim Clement. Ugh.
None of my memories are precise (I wasn't taking documented notations at the time, this is just accumulated memory), but I do remember my reaction to the "prophecies" before and after they were supposed to have occurred. I was increasingly soured on Christian "prophets" today, because I recall their positive or negative visions, and how neither came to pass.

Pastor Dana Coverstone says he has had dreams that predict America burning, hyperinflation ravaging the U.S. economy and even foreign soldiers on the ground. Yes, I remember the dream about the Pandemic he had prior to the pandemic. That is probably why his dreams took off.
As for hyperinflation the stage is surely set. Perhaps you missed it but BRICS is a direct assault on the US dollars hegemony and with Iran trying to join (along with China, Brazil, India, Russia, and South Africa) it definitely represents a very serious challenge to the US dollar.
As for America burning and foreign soldiers on American soil well, Biden and Zelensky and Putin are all threatening WWIII so until the two biggest nuclear superpowers stop with those threats I'm gonna hold judgement on whether or not to call him a "false prophet".
These dreams all had the theme of "brace yourself" which indicates they are warnings and that you are being given time to prepare. So, have you prepared?

He seemed to be suggesting that we were going to see these things a lot sooner, like 2020. This is the impression I got from listening to him.
Sorry. Too many have said such and such, and too many have fallen flat on their faces. And, I am not going to give them room via loose interpretations of their supposed prophecies.

Someone who prophecies in the name of the Lord when the Lord has not spoken to them receives a terrible judgment, but the same is true for someone who calls a brother a false prophet when in fact the Lord has spoken to them. I would not be so quick to judge, Paul said
1Corinthians 4:5 Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.
This does not refer to judging things that the Bible has already judged. If the Bible has judged it we are simply agreeing with God's judgment. The same is true of false prophets. Are they creeping into silly women's houses through the TV and radio? Are they licentious, fleshly, denying the power of the Holy Spirit and denying the one who redeemed us? Are they trying to make merchandise of you?

Bro, defend these "prophets" if you wish. When the time has come and gone for their words to come to pass and they have not, I will not stretch the meanings of their words to fit current facts. And, they would have been wiser to keep their mouths shut.
I do agree that we need to weigh, consider and pray about what we hear in terms of "prophetic" messages. But, so many have fallen flat that my first reaction is "eh... we'll see."
I am not defending, I am warning. It is every bit as serious to say that you are speaking in the name of the Lord when you aren't as it is to claim someone is a false prophet when in fact they are speaking in the name of the Lord.
I would not make either claim unless I was sure.
Which is why I have no problem quoting the Bible because that is the word of God. Paul said don't judge before the time. The context for that statement was the fact that people were calling him a false prophet. It has taken two thousand years for some of the things he said to be fulfilled. Your claim of waiting for several months is laughable.
Also, you have been warned, what you do with that is up to you, at this point my only concern is others who would be tempted to follow in your footsteps.
More on discerning false prophets and scoffers
Most prophecies do not have a day and time attached to them. So let's look at the ones that do.
1. Daniel gave you the year that Jesus would be crucified and John the Baptist told us He was the "lamb of God". Put those two together and you would be able to get the date and time of Jesus crucifixion. Then there were many other prophecies that fit with crucifixion that might help you be convinced that Jesus would be crucified on that date. Likewise, study Exodus and you could see many parallels.
Why is this one of the biggest exceptions to this rule? Jesus told the pharisees and Jewish leaders that they would be judged harshly because they did not see the day of their redemption. Without these prophecies being this specific it would not be righteous to judge them this harshly.
Why did they crucify Jesus? They said He claimed he would rebuild the temple in three days. They were scoffing so beware, you don't have the right to misinterpret the Lord's words and then use that to justify yourself.
2. Lot is warned that Sodom and Gomorrah will be destroyed and he must leave that morning. Abraham was warned prior to this and was praying for Lot.
The Bible says that God will not do anything without telling His prophets. Once again we see many scoffed at this. Lot's daughters had two fiances, they both scoffed. Again, be warned, God will send the prophets and how you respond to them will determine how you are judged.
3. Noah enters the ark one week prior to the flood.
This is probably the best example for the vast majority of prophecies. Methuselah had just died, his name was a prophecy that after he dies. His name was a prophecy meaning "his death shall bring forth". No doubt everyone in that town knew about Methuselah but except for Noah and his family they were mockers and scoffers and they all perished.
This is how most prophecies are, they are signs on the road. When you see the sign you know where you are. If I give you directions and tell you to turn left at the McDonalds you might wonder "when will I see Mcdonald's?" Will it be 9am, or 10:15am, or 6pm? The question is idiotic. When are you leaving? What is the traffic like? Are you going to stop on the way?
So instead you might ask how far is the McDonald's from the bridge? So the Bible gives you these answers. But it is always here a little and there a little. For example, Ezekiel and Leviticus make it clear how long you will be punished for rebellion. It becomes a complicated algebra problem to then figure out how long the Jews will be punished for rejecting the Messiah. To solve that problem requires a vast understanding of scriptures as well as the patterns in the books of History as well as what the prophets said and what the law said. And that is why the Lord speaks the way He does. It would be worse than pointless to tell people the day and hour of the Lord's return. This would be like telling you the day and hour of a big calculus exam and you thinking that knowing that will somehow insure that you pass. Knowing the word of God, digging into the word of God, praying and seeking the Lord, these things will help you renew your mind and be saved.
But there is another reason for this. Remember Jesus said He spoke in parables so that hearing they wouldn't hear and seeing they wouldn't see. The prophecies can help you dig into the word or they can expose you as a scoffer and mocker.

Sorry man, I don't have 1/10th as much time as you seem to have posting here. I have many other concerns requiring my attention and time. So, my posts are generally briefer, less frequent and less footnoted than yours. And, that is how it shall be.
All I can say is, when a woman says that Trump will be given the keys to the White preceding the 2020 election, he doesn't get those keys, and then there is speculation that maybe the 2024 election was actually meant, I'm sorry but these seem like excuses to me.
I hear you about the scoffing. Paul told us to not dismiss prophecies, but to... what did he say? I'm sure you have a passage, in detail, at the ready... but I seem to remember him saying that we should prayerfully consider them or some such thing along those lines. I do try to bear that in mind. It is hard, since it seems that so many such messages do not come to pass. Is there a time limit on these? I think when someone's talking about the 2020 election, there's a time limit. What's his face from Times Square Church seemed to believe his words were within a decade or so, which is why he was perplexed after 15?? years that his doomsday prophecy had not come to pass.
Anyway, post your treatises. I have employers to answer to. But... I've already taken some of what you've said to heart and have asked God to correct me where I may be wrong. But, until He does that, I will remain skeptical of modern "prophets".
