To make things more confused:

Last summer I was in Dublin. I rented a car. The steering wheel was on the right.

The speed was in... kmh! I excpected it to be in mph

Didn't need to convert at all. The road signs were also in kmh. I just expected that the Irish would use miles... but they don't.

you have to pay attention if you drive a left-steer car with kmh in England... That can be tricky

Driving on the wrong side of the road must be wierd.

It's weird the first 15 miniutes, then you get in it and it becomes more normal. The roundabouts and crossings are tricky...

yeah I got to visit Israle and drive a car there

it is the opposite siide to australia

ther is an easy way of adapting and a hard way

took me months to find the easy way

still occasionally turned at an intersection into the wrong side

(when you drive you actually keep track of the middle of the road by sighting down the front corner of the car's hood closest to the driver - you just need to do that mirror reversed)

this is why I don't drive, I don't have the concentration to think of all those things at the same time

I learned to drive, but I never got my lisence.
