I just wish to say, I respect Pretribbers as Christians--I just don't respect their connection between their systematic theology and the Bible.

I have no doubt the antichrist is being set up the beast system is already being set in place the vaccine is a precurser to the mark the giant that they made can take on images reminding me of how they will worship the image of the beast already our freedoms are being stripped away if not the tribulation I hope at least the rapture will happen
Either way things are speeding up it isn't just a thing here and there anymore everything seems to be unfolding at a rapid pace now

No, the "birth pangs" were stated by Jesus to be wars, famines, pestilences, etc. that preceded the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. They were early warning signs, brought on by Israel's refusal to repent of their sins.

Obviously, wars, famines, and earthquakes exist all through history. But God sends them at His whim. And in this context, He sent them to warn Israel of their coming judgment, should they refuse to repent.

Only believers among the Jews repented and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And they were given to escape the 70 AD judgment.

The Jews should've recognized the drum beat of Roman conquest. It was happening all around them. They knew they were weak before the Roman occupation, and could not hope to stand against them. But irrationally, Jewish brazenness prevailed, and the sin of independent judgment won out among the Jews. They insisted on believing God was on their side, when famines and earthquakes warned them that God was *not* on their side.

These were the "birth pangs" that would bring forth a still-born child. Their Messiah would be lost, and they would be either killed or exiled throughout the term of the NT era. This is what the Olivet Discourse was all about.

No Matt: 24 Jesus is talking about when he will be back. Matt:24:3 "And he sat upon the Mount of Olives, "the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what shall be the SIGN of your coming, and the end of the world(age)..., Jesus laid it out systematically. There wasn't the technology to let them know of the places around the world having nations against nations, pestilences, earthquakes in diver places. See Ezekiel 38:8 "in the latter years thou shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, :and is gathered out of many peoples etc. Israel became a nation again in 1948 gathered from all over the world. If you look at Ezekiel 38 you will see the nations spoke about are in play today. Russia, Germany, Turkey, Iran, Ethiopia, Libya, The beginning of sorrows. Now Christians all over the world are being persecuted and killed. Even here in the US there is a falling away from God. look at all the hate people have because one doesn't follow there ideas. The people are broken up into different religious and political beliefs and everyone is divided. 70 AD was the fulfillment of Gods promise back in Deuteronomy 28:25 "shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth." Because they violated Gods commandment and statutes. Read all of Chap 28. And look at the love many that has waxed cold. We all need to focus on prayer right now more than anything, Prayer constantly praying in our hearts and minds. talking to God while we drive, walk, shop in everything we do. The tribulation is coming so be prepared.

And God bless you as well. I'm greatly concerned about the truth and accuracy of God's word.

"For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

That time has come.
I'm confident that his word is both true & accurate. No worries

So I don't make threads often but when I do it is because I feel or believe something strongly and I personally think the tribulation could very well begin this year. For those of you who know I am a pretrib rapture believer and while I leave room for me being wrong and end up having to go through the tribulation I truly feel myself looking up more when I did my recent bible prophecy study.
And some of you may know as well I study biblical numerology as numbers are used all throughout the bible as if a hidden language and used precicely in each manner of which it is used I found a site on this subject a while back https://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/21.html and it has so far been amazing in helping me understand and the number 21 and this year has been on my eyes for a while now because it does seem to symbolize great wickeness and rebellion and sin ehich if you look at things in the world right now the wickedness corruption and sin is by far worse than it has been in a good while.

My next thing is the number 22 which seems to represent great disorder and chaos and again the link is herehttps://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/22.html Also remember how Jesus said on the mount of olives how the generation will see all these things come to pass? what is a generation according to scripture? the bible says it is 70 years or by reason of strength 80 years, now pay attention to Israel and how it became a nation again in 1948 now lets add 80 years to that and what is it? 2028 what is 7 minus that? 2021 why does God begin the great tribulation to begin with? the great rebellion and sin of man.
This is only a little of my studies but I just felt God telling me to make this thread how it is recieved is in his hands
Also for those who have been worried I have not been online much I was put into an institute by family for the mentally disabled which I don't belong in but have nowhere to go and the internet here is very finicky plus I have been working a lot as well but God has been with me and speaking to me so I figure he must have me here for a reason

The ”beginning” of the great tribulation is earmarked in scripture for us by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:15-21

  • Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand)For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The great tribulation will begin when we see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, of the temple.

Fact: The temple must be rebuilt complete with a holy place first.

You conveniently left out the very thing that they were asking about! They were asking *when* the destruction of the temple, stone by stone, would take place! Are you serious? Are you trying to make it sound as if the Disciples were only asking *when* Jesus would return?

It's clear that Jesus never did give a time when he would return. But he did tell his Disciples when the fall of Jerusalem would take place. It would be in their very generation. But I think you know that. You just close you mind to it because modern futurist interpretation of this prophecy would sidestep it and focus only on future predictions. Or so it seems to me.

Jesus laid it out systematically. This last part I would agree with. What happened to Israel was given as a sign for future Christian countries who likewise would experience a great falling away. Our love has indeed grown cold, and Christians are now being persecuted to some degree in the West.

Dan 7 indicated that the 4th Kingdom would be "in play." That's the Roman Empire, which today is Europe. It is definitely preparing ground for the rise of the Antichrist.

As for Ezekiel's prophecy, that one sort of stumps me. According to Rev 20, it happens after the Millennium. But it may also take place before the Millennium--I don't know. Thanks for sharing.

Yes the great tribulation will happen when the temple is built but this also is when the antichrist will reveal himself however it also speaks of many tribulations beforehand making it seem as if the tribulation and the great tribulation are different parts of one thing if we werte to read it as one thing it would seem as if many horrible things happen at once but obviously if it is like birth pangs that isn't how it works.

For instance if you notice the first half seems more carnel the persicution of believers the mark not being able to buy or sell without it a system set up by the enemy which we can see if we pay attention is being set up now the vaccine is a precursor to the mark anyone who refuses the vaccine is called a threat to otherssoon enough it won't be done with just words alone.

However in the second half you notice things are done by angels not man. Now I am wondering and paying close attention to the presidency, Trump is for Israel and Biden seems to not care but the temple requires permission to be built because of the area it resides in if Biden creates war by his insanely stupid move with Afghanistan he will not be able to step down as president or be overruled he will oficially be commander in cheif but say Trump somehow gets his postion back he would be for the building of the third temple but regardless of the temple anyone who pays attention can tell that the tribulation is getting close

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Why the mystery? To catch satan by surprise, once the Harpazo (Rapture) happens, satan will only have a short time to plan his deceiving lies.

The Blessed Hope is what we have during these trying times! Our only action that our Lord tells us to do is LOOK UP and be READY! Not to waste our time guessing WHEN! It's dogmatic to date set.

Your right and I'm wrong. However, it wasn't because of convenience. It was ignorance. I failed to read Matt: 24 from the beginning. I started on verse 3 and missed the question about the temple. You are right it was 70 AD when the Romans sacked the temple. Ezekiel 38 to at least to me mirrors what Jesus was talking about in Matt 24.

Not to be concerned, Anthony. We're brothers just sharing opinions. We're both doing our best to serve the Lord. You know, my wife and I came to agreement on something tonight, that the best way to check somebody's character is to check their humility. It's true. Thanks.
