Isaiah 24:5-6 [5]The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Could this be a warning for the times were in and the cities towers of babel about to have their fuction abilities collapse?

Isaiah was prophesying about the Babylonian conquest of Judah, but certainly this kind of thing can apply to any time of judgment
 
The curse of sin, unbelief to God from man, began at the tree Adam the first ate from. the curse went through out the world having the knowledge of good and evil, just not assuredly as God knows 100% truth. Now that does not mean we are all born evil, known as original sin. That is still a choice for each person to choose to make consciously. Many that choose to not be evil, somehow, choose self to know truth and stand in their own truth over others and fights and wars have come from that. I am right you are wrong attitudes of the fallen flesh, by the first Adam

Now, Father sent Son to level the playing field and reconcile everyone to himself to give new life in the risen Son. I do not do righteousness, God does through the willing ones. that is exactly what Christ did for us in his one time willing death 2 Cor 5:17-22.
Giving new life to lead, anyone new in his risen Son's life for them to stand in, Col 1:21-23 then one, anyone does the love and mercy given them through Son for them, to all, even those that have done them wrong or do them wrong, that be the change, that no flesh can do, it needs God's lead, the same as Son did already John 19:30
Christ is the second Adam that is perfect in listening to Father. Our turn, thanks, the curse reversed in risen Son, for us to be new born again by Father to us each personally first, above loving neighbor as self. that come automatic once anyone gives thier life to Father in risen Son for them first. Which takes time to learn. Then one, anyone in beleif learns new in truth and ends loving all the same as Son has done for us all first
