Hmm catholic, protestant, methodist, calvinist etc, the list is endless, they all call themselves christians but have widely differing doctrines, but each one thinks theirs is the RIGHT one..

I fundamentally disagree with your assessment. Getting something headed in the right direction is far better than letting things continue to go in a terrible direction. Jesus warned us that the children of the world are wiser in their generation than the children of light. I believe that description describes someone like you.
I don't mean it as an insult to you. But I don't think taking a holier than thou attitude helps anything. Neither do I agree that those on the right are all that you say they are.
I also find many like yourself to be the biggest hypocrites ignorantly. You hold certain groups to high scrutiny but others you dismiss. Is your barber faithful to his wife? Is the waitress who serves you married or just living with someone? Does your doctor support abortion? Are your children's teachers drug users? I'm guessing you don't know. Yes in other forums I do speak out against teachers who are leading our children astray. My dentist is not preaching to the masses so him I don't hold as accountable. Same with the waitress. You're mixing apples and oranges.

God tells us over and over again that false prophets will come in His Name, leading His people away from His Ways. If I see that happening, would I not be derelict for not pointing that out and warning my brothers and sisters? If I am called to be a voice in the wilderness calling out such a warning, would I not be sinning if I did not do what God has called me to do?

Because trump supports abortion, you turn a blind eye to all the ways he is leading believers away from Christian values. And you turn a blind eye to all the ways he bears fruit not of the Holy Spirit. I don't moralize your vote, I say open your eyes and take in the big picture. Because what has been prophesied is coming to pass, and you will be deceived into accepting it if you don't.

I appreciate the sincerity of your answer. I truly do. But I'm not at all fooled by who Trump is. Unlike many, I'm not convinced he's a Christian. But it was certainly worth voting for Trump for the thousands of lives being saved every day that are no longer being aborted.
You seem to have the idea that Trump is leading Christians away from God. I believe anyone looking to any political leader for spiritual leadership has already been mislead. I see Trump as a modern day Cyrus. He's just someone God is using to defeat evil. In the process, I believe God is laying the foundations to bless His people. Trump is not ultimately important. He is just a vessel. But what God is doing is of paramount importance.
As a Christian, my faith is in God, not Trump or anyone else. But I do see that perhaps God is using Trump to accomplish His purposes and bless His people. I could be wrong. We'll see how it plays out. The children of Israel disapproved of God's choice of deliverer. I'm not so inclined.

• The very definition of the word deception, is that those who fall prey to it have no idea they are falling prey to it.
• Following these leaders will cost some their salvation.

And it’s no. 4 that I find most troubling, and burnt into my heart by God, as I don’t want to see any of my brothers and sisters lured into stepping away from their faith. Even if it is to support abortion. What good is it to save another’s life, by unknowingly giving up your own? Aborted babies enter heaven, apostates do not. You can fight abortion without giving up God's ways and fruit.

I do not know what his motives were so I am not going to make up anything.

He didn't get us into a war and the economy was good under him. He promised to appoint pro life judges and he did that.

since I have to make a choice between two people if it is between Trump and Biden it is a very clear choice for me, I would vote Trump and would have a very poor opinion of anyone who thought that Biden was a better choice.
