Right. It's not a tightrope. Few is not "almost none." Too many here dismiss most Christians as heretics and damned to hell because of insignificant differences.

Even Fox News is basically Left-Wing. If One America is consistently conservative, that is the only news source Christians should watch. I don't know too much about it except that it is supposed to be conservative.
All well and good, except for the fact what you said actually does contradict scripture. You said: "a tightrope is a one-person-a-time thing, so that means very few will get there. It's also difficult to stay on, and many will fall off meaning even fewer. Neither of those are biblical principles."
Matthew 7:14 sounds like a Biblical principle to me. It contradicts entirely what you said. "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Yet it doesn't say very few, it just say sys few. You're adding to scripture something that isn't there, which is one of the two points I was making with the tightrope. Cleary we aren't going to agree on "perseverance of the saints", which is fine, it's not essential to understand or agree with it. That was the other point of the tightrope example.

Do you have examples of any other scriptures that suggest that when Jesus said "few" He didn't mean "very few?" Did He ever differentiate? It seems to me you're the one adding to scripture things that aren't there.
Sounds like Christians need to mount up an army and take over the world... cause it's in the people's best interest!
