Trump's says his favourite Bible verse is the Two Corinthians.![]()
I think the only way to understand his thinking is to research his mentor Norman Vincent Peale https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Vincent_Peale I lived through these times and so I just spit out "N.V.Peale" from memory. If you search for Trumps father he is who introduced Peale to DT and so you'll find photos of them all together at different events from when DT was young. The thing about N.V. Peale(DT stated in interviews that he was heavenly influenced by him) is that he was a little more of a controversial type feel good preacher who sought several psychologist(Clarence W. Lieb,,Smiley Blanton ect.) to develop a type of religion crossed with psychology approach.
Anyway if you find any of N.V. Peal's audio recordings you'll notice a similarity in the way Peale spoke and DT... I'm meaning the sentence structure being highly suggestive while never really answering yes or no. Many of the critics of Peale pointed out that Peale's speech was a form of self hypnosis, hypnosis ect.(cognitive science). Again I'm saying this from memory(I was alive when you could hear Peale's sermons) and so bare in mind although Peals voice and DT's are different they both spit out one liners that are left open ended when speaking. The intention is to implant a thought but cause the hearer to come to the conclusion that they themselves are who came up with the idea.
