Its wonderful to meet you! I know how you feel about the whole church thing, we go to church but of course all masked up and hand sanitizer handy, but God is good and will see us all through this. Yes, i completely understand. I went 2 months without church and I was a mess! But yea, we can chat if you like... I’m not much to talk too, but I can carry a casual conversation lol. And prayer works anywhere. I even do so in my closet 2 weeks ago, and letting it allllll go! I didn’t hold back one single tear, apparently I needed to do it more than I actually was willing but God is good.. and gave me peace that my soul was desperately looking for.

Hi Craig, welcome and yes, you found a great place to connect with other believers whenever you want to. I know lockdown is hard, but you are in such an historical and gorgeous country, and that is something I would be thankful for. No, sadly not. They do steam the meetings live on sundays but you can find most churches live-streaming with a quick google search in your area (or searching with the denomination you prefer if you have one.) I have found that sort of thing plentiful in the uk and the states too. It’s not the same though. At least with the zoom meetings you can contribute and see people “face to face” in a sense.
The online chat app here is at least interactive with the option to audibly speak, type or even have yourself on camera while you speak with whoever is in that chat room. Bible study is the not frequented room from what I can see.

Welcome to the site. Though not a complete substitute for physical assembly, CC is a pretty good resource to fill in extra gaps.
The only downside is that this is the internet and people are less trusting because there isn't a person to person connection but discernment is still required in person...it's just slightly different.
Anyway, reach out. There are lots of helpful people here to assist you in whatever direction you'd like to go.
and bear in mind that forums are something like a water cooler. Sometimes things are said in that bubble that aren't meant unilaterally but people get carried away in their flesh at times (me included)
