Crazy family dynamics

My mother became homeless and disabled about two yrs ago. Now she lives with my grandmother who left retirement at 72 to go back to work so she could get a job to buy a house to house both she and my grandfather and two cousins. One cousin will be 25 soon. He is an alcoholic, a violent drunk, extremely irresponsible, and disrespectful. He calls my grandmother horrible names (like the ones you'd see scratched on a public bathroom door) and picks fights with everyone. My grandmother and mother spend the wee hrs of every morning trying to convince him to calm down.
I do not live nearby so there's little I can do. My mom often calls me on exceptionally bad days. Today was one. I finally got her to all the cops and all they did was tell him not to return tonight. Please pray for my family.
 
Hello Jordanche I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God can restore your family and bring them all peace of mind and heart. Its great that you're there for support for your mom when times are tough for her. I would suggest that next time you call (if you aren't doing so already) pray with her over the phone and such, and have faith, I am certain God will work!

Hi Jordanche, we serve a living God and whatever we do here on earth He sees all, He knows the pain you are going through as a family and He will come at His appointed time to change the unchangeable. For what is impossible with man is possible with God, so my dear sister, take it to the Lord in prayers and tell Him enough is enough. He will work it all for you. For He has a good plan for your family. I will keep you in prayers and we believe in God for a mighty change. God bless you dear n your blessed of the Lord.

Father God in the name of Jesus I humbly come before you and I lift up in prayer this family who are seeking for a house. Father God in Jesus name I ask that You remove whatever obstacles are in their path that prevents them from acquiring a house. I ask for a breakthrough in their situation that they may declare Your greatness! that Your name be praised by all for Your wonderful work.

Father God I in the name of Jesus I lift up the cousin who is in great need of deliverance of the unclean spirits who are upon him. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, unclean spirits I come against you all with the blood of Jesus and by His authority I bind you all strongly with the blood, I loosen you all with the blood, I command you to leave to get out of him! Get out! Get out! Get OUT NOW! In the name of Jesus I renounce the works you have in him!

Father God in the name of Jesus I ask that you cleanse the cousin with Your living water. I ask that You take his heart into Your hands and turn it! I ask that You remove that heart of stone from his flesh and give him a heart of flesh. I ask that you place Your spirit in him that he may walk in your statutes and keep you judgments. I ask dear God that you circumcise his heart and remove that foreskin that you establish your covenant of love in him, that his he be filled with your divine love that overflows into his relationship with his family. I ask dear God that You send the Holy Spirit upon him that he may be convicted, that you renew his mind so he can lead a transform life.

Purpose him dear God to seek You and that he may find You. Turn him into a great man of God! I pray all this in Jesus name Amen Amen

Jordache, Life is so hard. I'm praying for your family. May God lift up your grandmother and mother to stay strong to deal with this. God's blessings on you all!
 
I'm struggling with what to do. I live 500 miles away but I believe I'm the only one who will do what it takes. I'm scared for my family. I love my cousin dearly but he shouldn't be allowed to put others in danger. He has a history of violence, threatens to kill himself, my mother, and my grandparents on a weekly basis, and has loads of weapons in his room.
I told my mom to get a gun from my brother. I'm not a violent person, but if he attacks someone then someone else has to be able to defend them. I don't want her to kill him, but if he attacks id rather her shoot than watch him kill someone.
I don't know what to do. I know I can pray, but am I supposed to do anything else? I called the local police station yesterday to ask what it takes to put him in jail or treatment. They basically said since the jails are full he has to kill someone to be detained.
 
God bless your Grandmother !!
And give her a Lot of strength to deal with the Family.
Lord guard and guide your cousin too, that he may find inner peace and god in his live.

I know next to nothing about the law. Could your mother and grandmother get a restraining order to force your cousin to leave?
 
Praying for your grandmother to stop enabling all those people. She needs to throw them out and let God deal with them. They are all adults and should be caring for themselves.

In other words, too many spoiled brats! I sincerely do hope your grandmother can get rid of all these users, even if they are family.
 
They could do a lot of things but they won't. I don't believe my mom is really the big problem here. She is unable to work, and needs to be taken care of. She is on heavy meds. She does as much as she can to help and is usually the buffer between my cousin and grandparents.
I spoke with a friend and he suggested reporting elder abuse. Never thought of that, but it seems to fit.

THAT's our system at work? Jordache, it sounds like you are doing as much as you can. I'll be praying for everyone, including you, and especially for your cousin.
