Why not take advantage of the fact that there are people from around the globe on CC? :) What would you like to know about another country? Maybe someone from there or who has been there can tell you.

What are some unique things about your country and culture that you feel are misunderstood or that you would like those in other countries to know?

I would be particularly interested in reading about churches and worship in other countries..how the gospel is accepted/shared there...
 
Interesting that you started this thread. I just messaged someone today from another country because I thought I had heard they were homeschooled...I guess I was mistaken.

A friend and I were talkiing about homeschooling done in other countries compared to here etc. (she homeschools her children)...it just got me curious as to what the *norm* is different places besides the US.

Well in my country is a christian nation constitutionally, and well Christianity is respected. Most claim to be Christians but few actually live a Christian life. God bless

HAHAHAHA I loved that post, you know I was wondering if that was true. :P And so you know, people in Mexico don't travel in donckeys while wearing a big sombrero and eating a big burrito. ( at least not a lot, lol)

There are hundreds of tribes and cultures in my country, Indonesia. The people in Manado, North Sulawesi, near the Philipines, DO eat dogs....: (. They also eat bats.....and ..... monkeys.... : (.

One of my students whose father is from Manado ate monkey two weeks ago........ and dogs is one of his favorite food. (shrug) :(:confused:
