methane? for what? Miller's experiment is a known fraud, that sadly is in textbooks, but the atmosphere has almost always been the same - Nasa would claim

When it comes to NASA, it could even be that they're pretending to look for what they know they can't find. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that rover is scratching around in a desert here on Earth somewhere.
 
A foul wind is always blowing at NASA.

They've gone from spaceflight which was the catalyst for the development of new materials to making all sorts of probes. Maybe NASA is secretly run by little green men.

Seriously, how is understanding the makeup of a distant planet going to help us at all if we don't even know how to live there. Study the sun some more and figure out fusion...

Although this may belong more in a conspiracy thread than a news one, I'm more and more of the opinion that they were never into space flight to begin with. From the moon landing to their Mars rover, it just seems fake to me. And what's with their naming of all their missions after false gods?

Here is a link to some military patches that don't really seem like military patches to me - more like occult patches. I think NASA gets a mention or two.

1. What about it seems so fake? It would seem fake to me if they found something more exciting out there. But they don't.

The Space Race was more than a propaganda war, but a grab for actual power that required a ton of thought power and work (hence why both nations didn't cash in for the long haul).

2. Planets are named after Roman gods. Constellations after Greek myth. Give me a reason why people wouldn't follow suit?

1) I'm sure you've heard all the reasons people don't accept the moon landing theory, and maybe you don't accept them - that's fine. The photo below is enough for me to see it was fake. If someone showed me the picture of the spacecraft below, and told me he'd landed on the moon with it, I'd just laugh at him. Its only because the picture is backed by the respectability of NASA that people believe something like *that* could have ever landed on the moon.

The Apollo 1 astronaut Gus Grissom was a critic of the Apollo program, telling the media it would never be completed on time after being disappointed with his own first hand experience. He even went so far as to hang a lemon on the landing module. Of course, NASA couldn't have their own astronauts alleging their program was little more than a scam, and Gus and his 2 fellow astronauts were later conveniently burned to death in an "accident", which his family allege was murder. The moon landing occurred 2 years later, with more agreeable astronauts. If they can't even make it to the moon, I don't believe they can make it to Mars, either. As for finding something more exciting, it won't surprise me if they eventually find life on Mars, allegedly proving the theory of evolution, or aliens, or some rot. I see the whole space exploration thing as a big psychological operation/propaganda war.

2) In times past, people worshipped the stars and planets, believing them to be gods. In our day, we view ourselves as scientifically advanced, but still maintain the names of these false gods for our Heavenly bodies. Perhaps this isn't a conspiracy, but I still don't like it.
