Believe me I have seen on youtube some of the Dumb American videos that have been posted. I agree that education is bad in America, but if he was a real leader, he would be fixing it, with better programs and finding new ways to teach material, and improving curriculum. But me if it were my decision. See the education thing is a parallel to what Hitler did, but in all honesty, when did the state or the country take the responsibility of education away from the churches and the parents?? I mean if people think they should have a public education system, then they should create their own system, The government is only responsible for passing laws to protect consumers from fraud, theft, and provide for protection and safety, like the department responsible for enforcing rules and regulations regarding work place safety.
You have no clue. Our constitution was written by four people who were founders of colleges. They were very much interested in education but they had different opinions about the best way to carry that out. The US constitution did not overlook education, it purposely did not assign this to the federal government and clearly stated anything that is not assigned to the federal government is under the jurisdiction of the States. The DOE is unconstitutional, and George Bush wanting to be known as the educational president was unconstitutional and the federal government telling every state how to teach otherwise they will cut their funding was also unconstitutional. Trump is fixing this mess by abolishing the DOE and he didn't even do that.

It's a passing fad, introduce him to a better country like Brazil and he'll forget all about Canada.
I don't think so, Canada is right there separated by that invisible line someone drew with a ruler.

Let me give you an example of how poor and pathetic the DOE is. In the US every teacher is required to have the data inform their teaching. Because of that I bought some books on statistical analysis, learned how to use a correlation coefficient and put the data into spreadsheets to help me analyze what was working and what was most effective. But I was required to take ten hours of professional development, so I looked through the offerings and they had one on data analysis. I thought, great, I'll get some pointers from someone who actually majored in statistical analysis. After all I was in NYC, there are 77,000 teachers in NYC, you would think out of all those you would have a certified Math teacher who studied statistical analysis doing this PD. But no, I soon learned that the woman running this PD was completely clueless. I got my first hint when our ice breaking exercise was to stand beneath numbers from 1-10 and she would hit a "random number generator" on the computer. If it got your number you were out. The last one standing wins. So I would simply move to the last number it had picked. They mocked me because they assumed that "random number generators" on computers are actually random, not knowing they are programmed to not give the same number twice. Needless to say the PD was a complete waste of time, she was simply pushing the approach that all principals push, but that the books I had studied had completely debunked.

So that is bad, but it gets much worse. In NYC every regents exam is analyzed and every teacher who is certified to teach that course is graded on the results. Based on that you can identify the four or five most effective teachers in any regents exam over the last three years. Teachers were then graded based on the results with the most effective teachers being graded "highly effective" on their exam results. They do all that already, it is part of the contract. So I naturally assumed they would then use highly effective teachers in a subject to give PD's. Every year we have two professional development days and you can choose where you want to go. And yet, they don't do this. Do you want to know why? It is because PD is used by the DOE to indoctrinate teachers on CRT, DEI, and other useless garbage.

So are the actions of DOGE maybe?

Is this a joke? You really think it is unconstitutional for the US government to audit their agencies? What is next, it is illegal to arrest someone for corruption? What kind of socialist indoctrination has pickled your brain? Oh, sorry, no offense, A.

Well here is what I noticed, Trump is using the same America First to rally a divided country the same way Hitler Rallied Germany
Trump has total disregard for Law and order like Hitler had total disregard for law and order.
Trumps Disregard for human rights like Hitlers disregard for human rights
Hitler threw his enemies into prisons and camps based on political and racial motivation, trump is deporting, imprisoning and throwing people into prison based on racial and political motivation with out trials or evidence based convictions that crimes have actually been commited.
Oh and how Hitler went around annexing countries against their will just like Trump wants to do with Greenland and Canada.
Please explain which group of people are being denied their human rights. Are you talking about those who came into the U.S. by breaking our laws. And, when they are found, do they deserve a day in court? I don't think so!

However, if you feel bad for these people – maybe they could be populated into Canada. That way, your tax dollars could be used to provide shelter and food for them.

As for tariffs, let both countries agree to do away with them altogether. I'm sure that Trump would agree to that. Would Canada?

What happened with Harper? Why did the country think Trudeau would be a better pick than Harper?
I don't know I jumped ship on the major parties in favor of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada. (Amazing what research will yield) lol

Wow, I did not know that, from that perspective I would have to agree with you. It's amazing what the media doesn't cover.
This is why I prefer coming on here. you learn more about the truth from the average person than any politician or media outlet.

Well they would be the ones who are victimized by crime in their home country and fleeing for their safety and facing death and torture, and then you have the law abiding immigrants who took the time to fill out the paper work and enter legally and become honest hard working citizens.

We had our share of immigrants here, Trudau literally opened the flood gates for the middle eastern people letting, like what was it, about 1.5 million in unchecked. I believe one news source at the time commented or perhaps a politician, they said that in Isreal terrorists need tunnels, in Canada all they need are visas. We have the same issues going on over here.

Just my 2 cents. Anyone worried about trump becoming a dictator is forgetting that almost all dictatorships begin with a man around 40 years of age. Heck trump is past the average life span already. He's just as likely to die of natural cause as become a dictator in the last 5 years of his life. Only like 9% of the population makes it past 85. So becoming a dictator is laughable at best. Second he's already been a president once and no dictatorship. And third left wing dictatorships have killed just as many people as right wing ones. Both are bad.

No, that's not how tariffs work.
The other side that's been tariffing us, is also paying the cost of the tariff.
