Share your favorite curry recipes/methods!

I like to stir fry veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions, peppers, maybe zucchini and cabbage. Fresh garlic is good too. Then when they're cooked, add coconut milk, broth, curry sauce, and coconut oil. For spices use salt, pepper, curry powder, ginger, cinnamon, and cayenne. I like to add a little blackstrap molasses or coconut sugar.

Serve over rice noodles or rice with peanut sauce, chopped peanuts, and lime juice!

You can make peanut sauce with peanut butter, coconut milk and oil, lime juice, salt and a little sweetener.

Once I made curry without curry sauce or paste. I think I used curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, ginger, and cayenne to get the right flavor. I might be missing something?

Lol! I showed my younger sister and told her you like to raise possums and she said, tell him to give me one.:D
I just got done reading Genesis 45 and decided to catch up on the threads I missed when I fell asleep the other night .

Your sister is precious. I sure wish I could give her a possum . I'm sure she would show it lots of love and take good care of it. ❤️

I use these spices but I never used Fenugreek except as a medicine. I didn't know what it would go with in a recipe.

Yes I'm sure she would. She's funny. She's the one that had the starling. Oh btw the puppy I had for my avatar found a home last week. Then today my favorite one found a home. Sad but it probably wouldn't have been the best idea for me to keep him.

I will try to remember to use this as a shopping list by the weekend. I have the coconut milk that I've been saving for a special recipe. I just bought about 2 pounds of fresh ginger, but still need the veggies and molasses. Oh, yeah, I love rice and bean thread noodles. Looking forward to making this recipe. Thank you for posting this for me.

So that's why you changed the cute puppy picture. I'm sorry you had to find another home for them. I share your pain.
I was just talking to someone at work earlier who is moving to a large piece of land. At first she led me to think she wanted my possum to be released there. Then she finally told me that she wanted to make a pet of it.

Oh are you gonna give it to her?

No that's not why I changed it! It was super cute tho and maybe I'll put it on again lol.

I will let you know. One thing I have a question about are proportions. Is it very important to use a certain ratio of spices?
Okay so put plenty of curry powder and turmeric... cayenne to taste. A good bit of cinnamon and ginger but not too much. I don't measure a lot so that's kinda a hard question.

When she said she wanted it for a pet, I interviewed her. She already raises a big dog and lots of exotics. She has experience, but two problems. The biggest one is that she isn't willing to learn anything new. She acts like she knows everything there is to know about raising them, yet never did. She plans to feed her whatever she eats. The woman is very unhealthy. If she were humble I could work with that. She's not willing to learn, so I know the opossum would get MBD. It's hard to avoid with experienced rehabilitators. The possum would suffer. I just live in a neighborhood with lots of streets. The other property is in the country, but the one road is a bad for wildlife. One neighbor tries to hit possums.
The lady isn't going to get my lil' baby girl.

Oh yeah that's understandable. It's hard to work with people like that.
