That second video was impressive. That hen got all of her chicks out of there unharmed. It looked like she got tagged once, but probably just.got a mouth of feathers.

I used to raise a number of registered exotic breeds of fowl. The Asian were actually dangerous. I would use a feed bucket to keep the roosters from flying into my face. They would aim for the eyes.

The funny thing is, my friend who provided my eggs in partial return for my work, had a flock. When the neighbors rooster would come over to dominate her flock and attack her rooster, it was her big turkey that would chase it off . The guineas played a part, as did her dogs, but that turkey was the king. Lol.
