Of all nights after the nice talk about opossums, I got bit!
I wasn't a happy camper, but it wasn't her fault.
I was tired and already made Fluffer some dinner. I wanted to make sure she had plenty to eat so I opened a meal bar that has eggs, nuts and dried fruit. I made the mistake of giving her the entire bar and decided to take it back so I could offer it in bite sized pieces. When I tried to pull it out of her mouth..... because I'm an "expert" don't try this at home kids.....she bit into the knuckles of my finger. Ouch 😆

No big deal... it's not the first time I've been bit.
I'm told that chicks dig scars.
I have scars instead of tattoos.... even have one on the bicep. 💪😎. Lol
I have to stop to think if that was ........ Nope, that one wasn't avoidable.

The finger?
That was a vicious little opossum that bit me over a breakfast bar.

I'm sorry you got bitten! Look at it on the bright side, now you are even more appealing! You are right, I have to admit that I do think scars are handsome whereas I find tattoos to be a turnoff.

There used to be a woodchuck that lived under the building, which is right in view of the front door. I had gotten a box of fruit and grain bars that I didn't care for, so I would feed them to her. Another woodchuck came along. I came outside and both of them had their head sticking out from under the building waiting on food. I broke up a bar and put it in front of them. They came out from under the building and had a fight. Dirt was kicked up. The first woodchuck won. They certainly liked those bars more than I did lol.

Here's the full length video for more details but he wasn't able to explain that rear foot. To me it's duel locomotion is interesting. Not many creatures can claim a slug foot with legs like a beetle. There's no real explanation other than God's creativity .
He described the female he's holding starting around the 7:00 minute mark. Just ignore the evolutionary speculative comment about 13 million years or whatever. He probably can't tell you the weather from last week.

In the comments there was a lot of talk about it being toxic with cyanide so I'll make sure to never eat one if I take a safari to Borneo. Mental note, don't eat the bamboo or the trilobite beetles. Ok 😉

I am reminded that I need to go harvest Ginkgo Biloba this weekend.
Others have been in worse shape, so I have been focused on them. Someone who used to travel a long distance to attend my Bible study meetings just died of cancer. Another friend who intended to set up an appointment for a consultation with me just went to the ER yesterday. Met with her family yesterday...etc.
Thank you for your prayers. God's healing is essential.

I had a visit from a realtor today who asked if that neighbor's property with the bamboo was for sale. I hope she hasn't died. I haven't seen her car or truck for weeks, about when I posted my prayer request.
