i already knew of one type of 'discipline' that sends a totally wrong message to a child...spanking...but this is even more insane...
she is a teenager...she is not going to heed the eight minute lecture...but she is definitely going to pick up on her father's advice for conflict resolution...which he transmitted loud and clear...
namely that if she is upset at someone it is appropriate to pick up a gun and start shooting...

Anger in and of itself is not a problem.
You know what I've seen in the responses on the youtube video, most of the teens agree he was right in what he was doing. It seems that the majority who had a problem with what he did were the adults. Interesting. And even there, that seems to be a few, not the whole in general.
Even his daughter, from what I've read, said her dad did not go overboard.
