Right now in China, Syria, Iran, and other parts of the world people risk their lives to get their hands on a bible. In America, we use them to prop up a computer monitor, decorate a mantle, or as desk ornaments at work. It's sad but true that we have taken our liberty for granted and forsaken the privilege of freely owning and reading our bibles. We have resorted to becoming "cheerleaders for God" on Facebook. We have become "cut & paste Christians". It is kind of the same way with our families. We no longer sit at the dinner table, pray, and share our day with the family. Rather we sit with a glowing face as our battery drains on our smartphones and our food gets cold.
