Dangers of not persisting in Prayer

As a church this is a challenge that has plagued many. There seems to be the fault of not persisting in prayer, the question is, what is the reason for this folly?. There can be different reasons such as loss of interest, selfishness, becoming angry with God and such a like. But the main denominator that rests at the bottom of all of these listed reasons is the reality of human weakness. Jesus teaches us that men are to pray and not to faint, but even with such admonishing words, that does not stop us from doing the very thing we are commanded not to do. This is not good for a church that is in daily battle with the forces of evil and it has its personal negative effects on the personal life of a believer as well.

sad,but True..lets not complain so, and find time ourselves and Pray without fainting so we can be Prepared when the Lord God returns in His Secret Coming.:)

I totally agree bro ...even while writing this, i thought about my self and my short comings as it relates to persistent prayer, whether for others or for issues concerning myself and it is sad...i just have to do allot better....
May we all be more persistent and faithful in prayer.

When I know that I've sinned I fall short of persistent prayer myself, I often feel guilty after so it makes it hard for me to go too God in prayer when I know I've done something that wouldn't be pleasing in his sight....This is something I am currently and will have too continue to improve on....We all should

true sis..... God bless you and .... Watch and pray always, regardless of what may come
