When God gives Commands, they are not suggestions that are sent to a committee and voted on to see if they will acted on. No God's commands are what and how He wants us to live.
When we become Christians we are signing up that we know and understand those Commands and Laws and with the Power of the Holy Spirit, we will pray and seek God's help to obey them!!! Jesus came and simplified those Laws and Commands by telling us to Love God with all your heart and to Love others. When we love in that manner you will keep those commands automatically.
16 “Today the Lord your God commands you to obey all these laws and rules. Be careful to follow them with all your heart and soul.
17 Today you have said that the Lord is your God. You have promised to live the way he wants. You promised to follow his teachings and to obey his laws and commands. You said you would do everything he tells you to do.
