When my wife and I got Saved,and Jesus turned our lives around and called us to be Evangelists to the Motor Cycle word, a lot of the people in the church we were going to at that time began to talk behind our backs. Finally one of them came to us and said,
"you know that instead of running around out there in the world with all those nasty bikers, you should be in church every-time the doors are open fellowshiping and worshiping with us. You know that you become who you hang around."
My wife and I explained to that Lady, we were living in that evil lifestyle and God got a hold of us and Saved us. Then He call us back into that world to be a Light, and the Salt that those sinners needed to see. People knew us and how we once were and now see us living and serving God, not just inside the church walls, but out in the World. We asked that lady "Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the Sick?"
With God ordering you steps, You can be in the World, but not of the World.
9 Passing along, Jesus saw a man at his work collecting taxes. His name was Matthew. Jesus said, “Come along with me.” Matthew stood up and followed him.
10-11 Later when Jesus was eating supper at Matthew’s house with his close followers, a lot of disreputable characters came and joined them. When the Pharisees saw him keeping this kind of company, they had a fit, and lit into Jesus’ followers. “What kind of example is this from your Teacher, acting cozy with crooks and riffraff?”
12-13 Jesus, overhearing, shot back, “Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? Go figure out what this Scripture means: ‘I’m after mercy, not religion.’ I’m here to invite outsiders, not coddle insiders.”
