When we were taught about Jesus and heard His word, the power of the Holy Spirit put us under conviction. We saw our selves clothed in the filth of this world. We asked Jesus to Wash Us Clean. He stripped away all the sin we were wearing and covered us with the cloak of Salvation that was wonderfully covered by Jesus' own Blood. We then started our new walk as a new creation.Thank You Jesus!!!

20 But this is not the path of the Anointed One, which you have learned.
21 If you have heard Jesus and have been taught by Him according to the truth that is in Him,
22 then you know to take off your former way of life, your crumpled old self—that dark blot of a soul corrupted by deceitful desire and lust—
23 to take a fresh breath and to let God renew your attitude and spirit.
24 Then you are ready to put on your new self, modeled after the very likeness of God: truthful, righteous, and holy.

What comes to thought is that word Obedience. Eve had a choice, was disobedient to what God told her not to do. Sometimes, we put the blame game on God, even as believers, and do our own thing. Well I"ll just buy that cake, and do this, and that and , dishonor the body. The word is very clear, and precise,*stubbornness, and rebellion are like twins, that if not up rooted the word says this about them.*Stubbornness, and Rebellion are as witch craft, and they both will have their place in the lake of fire. This is a quote. NOt difficult to google it. WE want to do things, our way, much of the time, then have the pity party, and cry where is God, when he was telling us all the while, Be Obedient, for it is better to obey than to sacrifice an ox. He*doesn't*want our burnt offerings, he want's to bless us, to be obedient children of his. Ty for sharing.*
