Back when I was trying to let God have my life and walk away from my worldly life style, I came to a point that I knew that I had to let Jesus have control of my life. You see I had always done things my way and my life was in a mess. I was at a Christian Motorcycle Rally in a rodeo arena sitting on top of my Harley listen to an evangelist speak, to this day I don't remember any thing he said but this,
" Are you tired and weary. Are you tired of your life's up and downs most of them ending in failure. If that is you why don't you give up and surrender your life to Jesus today"
I slid off of my Harley right there into the dirt of that rodeo arena and said this
"I am sick and tired of my life. I am out of control. Jesus I will let you take control and drive. You take me the way you want me to go. You drive I surrender to right NOW" you know what my life has never been the same since!!! Do I still have trials and troubles, Yes but now I have hope and Jesus is with me and turns those trials and troubles into something He can use for His Glory. THANK YOU JESUS !!!


24-26 Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?
