People without the Love of God working in them are always trying to devise plans and schemes to get a head in this life. Go to your nearest neighborhood store and watch people spend money on lottery tickets hoping to get rich quick. Most are just to lazy to study and work for their betterment. People seek what God has for you to do and do it with His help and you will be well satisfied and very productive. God will take good care of you if you are working His plan.
20 Take good counsel and accept correction—
that’s the way to live wisely and well.
21 We humans keep brainstorming options and plans,
but God’s purpose prevails.
22 It’s only human to want to make a buck,
but it’s better to be poor than a liar.
23 Fear-of-God is life itself,
a full life, and serene—no nasty surprises.
24 Some people dig a fork into the pie
but are too lazy to raise it to their mouth.
